Fallout: New Vegas Save Game Problems

My best file on New Vegas for Xbox 360 is giving me problems. I tried to continue it normally, but the game freezes a little into loading. When I try to load it manually, the game says that some DLC doesn't exist anymore. Theres one problem: My game never had DLC in the first place because I can't connect to Xbox Live.

When I choose to continue loading or not, it then says that the storage device for that file no longer exists. I created a new file on the same device, and it saves and loads just fine. I have saved on the first file 4 times without problem until now. I have no idea what is going on.

It sounds like your save file is corrupted.  If you were on PC, there'd be a few ways to fix this, but the unfortunate thing about consoles is once your save file goes, it's gone.  Unless you want to jump through a thousand hoops.

If you still have the corrupted file. Put it on a flashdrive and move it to your PC. I might be wrong that all XBone files are in rear or similar format and all that you need is some magic recovery.

Fallout New Vegas is for X360, the file format is proprietary to the system.

Yeah. I mean I've messed around with my own Minecraft and a couple Force Unleashed files enough to see a bit of clockwork.

Yeah about the Xbox version...it is very very very bad. Bethesda didn't do a good job with the patches and so on. Heck, the game will freeze on you too. You're better off just getting the Pc version.

Since I wasn't that far into the game, I just made another file, and I was quicker and better this time around. I am much farther into the game this time without problem now. I appreciate the help anyway, guys.
