Tonight I made curry from scratch, completely. It was damn good but holy hell I'm actually suffering. Even R3d had to take breaks and left a little on his plate it was so damn spicy, and he's the one that has spicy food in his Iranian/Assyrian culture. They sit and eat those tiny green insane-peppers like candy.
I've been complaining that I'm too warm for 4 hours, I'm flushed in the face and I'm generally whining about how uncomfortable I am in my own skin thanks to this shit-ton of lava dinner. Yet it was exactly as spicy as I wanted it. Yet I kept drinking and cleaning my nose and eyes as I ate. Yet I enjoyed it.
What do you guys eat that literally makes you suffer later on? Do you ever avoid things that you like just because of the after effects?
Btw any jokes about the second burn and I swing my squeaky ban hammer.
I wanted to make a more general thread for everyone to post in. Anyways, here goes;

This thread is to talk about all of our tales of playing sports. I said "Adventure" because to a lot of people I know who play rep sports, it truly is. If you don't play sports, that's fine too, I'm ok if you post about going to the gym or giving some exercise tips to others.
I'll start then;
Hockey season's officially starting as of Sunday. From then on in, we're playing games on a regular basis until the end of January. Had a practice today, not much happened. We just got skated a lot.
I'm sure some of you can be less boring than I was up there (Don't worry, I'll do longer posts in the future), but feel free to write as much or as little as you want!

Hey guys! I'm just curious to see how many of you work out? One time, I was in my early days of the 30 Day Shred, and our very own Xort once said he'd like to get healthy, as he once used to do cross country training! If I'm recalling this incorrectly, sorry. X3
So I'm wondering, how many of you actually get some exercise into your regular day? How many of you WANT to get some into your regular day? Or are you already an active person?
Why have I made this poll? Curiosity to be honest, because I'm pretty sure I've seen some of you talk about jogging and such before!
Over the past year, I've done a wide range of workouts. I'm pretty sure I can make one up for you guys, if you'd ever be interested just PM me. Man, I wish we all lived closer so that we could go to the gym together. :(

Anyways! Redeemer recently promised us a recipe thread, but since she is filled with lies and scorpions, it falls to me to nobly stand in surety for her deceptive promises. Don't think your Gaelic charms will get you out of this one, Red. I'm onto you.
So anyways! Post recipes here plz. Also, they'd better be good, or all the king's horses and all the king's men won't be able to put you back together again. Here I will start.
1 package spaghetti
1 pound bulk Italian sausage, spiciness of your choice
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans spaghetti sauce
1 small package shredded mozzarella cheese (or whatever kind you want, really; the grocery store sells a mix called "Italian," of mozzarella, asiago, Monterrey Jack I think, and probably something else)
-Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain.
-Crumble sausage into 1 1/2-quart casserole bowl, stir in onion, cook covered on 100% power in microwave 6 to 8 minutes or until no pink remains. Drain off fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce.
-Put half of the spaghetti in big dish (recipe says 10x6x2-inch). Layer with half of the sausage/sauce mix. Repeat layers. Cover with vented microwave-safe plastic wrap. Cook on high 8 to 10 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook, uncovered, on high, 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Usually it all takes me about forty-five minutes to cook, start to finish. I usually use a couple tablespoons of olive oil in the water to keep the spaghetti from sticking together. You can get olive oil for relatively cheap at Trader Joe's, at least where I live, but if it's expensive you might not want to bother with that. I usually throw some garlic powder, oregano, and basil into the spaghetti sauce, and chopped up green onions (also known as scallions) into the sauce/sausage mixture. And recently I've apparently developed a fetish for putting parsley flakes on everything I cook that can even remotely be passed off as Italian. None of which is strictly necessary, but if you're making this for a date or something, parsley flakes on their food might impress them enough to dress up in Princess Leia's Jabba the Hutt slave bikini and make real all your sexy Return of the Jedi fantasies, or whatever it is you people do when you're not on the forum. So there's that.
