CrypticQuery
I always love when developers feel compelled enough to include easter eggs in their games; the little surprises that one wouldn't expect put a smile on my face each and every time. That begs the question; what are your favorite easter eggs? Some of the best IMO came from Max Payne [spoilers ahead!] - they're fantastic and go through a variety of subjects. Many are hidden quite well too.
LoneWolf
(Potentially NSFW video, it's Duke we're talking about here) Any of the easter eggs from the early Duke Nukem games. They're great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht0aknuiEO8
Arashikage
This is one of my favorites. It's found in Borderlands, and it actually makes you investigate if you want to know what the easter egg is. With this particular easter egg, it uses a picture which is what's known as QR code. This is something you need to scan with your smartphone and it takes you to a webpage, or displays text. This particular one says "Nick Wilson HO OH" And you'd need to look that up to understand it.
jeth
This from Fallout: New Vegas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86hc1ADnp6s And then the best part in the entire HALO series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDR1mRAwlu4
WOLFjr
I don't have any pictures, but the one Easter egg that I always seem to get a chuckle out of is the classic suspension bridge Easter egg from Grand Theft Auto, specifically Vice City and San Andreas. In both games there is a certain suspension bridge that, if you investigate at the top, you will find a sign that says "There are no Easter eggs up here. Go away."
DoctorAllosaurus
Can't remember exactly which GB Kirby game it was, but I specifically remember a room that was designed to look like a naked lady. hoo
My fav is how in ssbm, you can play as master hand, and have % instead of HP, making you invincible. And sorry kitties, Sonic and Tailes in Melee is a lie. :
Snys93
In Star Wars Battle for Naboo (N64) there is a island in one of the missions and on the island is a snowman. Its funny and out of place. Love it.
