20 Years of StarFox Album

Recommended Posts

Fenrir-X

I have been working in this 20-track album to celebrate the 20th year of the release of Starfox(SFC;SNES)and i thought that SF-O would be an ideal place to share it. Regardless of what you might be thinking this is not a Remix album(that means i did not added anything to the songs, that was not the goal), i based this songs on non-ripped midi files i found on the internet so proper credits are given to the sequencers that made this possible in the mp3 description.
The goal of the album was to make the songs the most equal possible to the original music.
I am by no means a Pro in music production, nevertheless i did this with legit software because i'm going to study music production in a few months.

The Album is compressed in a .7z file that can be opened with 7-Zip.

A few rules about the album:

1° You MAY NOT post or upload this album anywhere else without my permission.
2° You MAY NOT burn this in a CD/DVD disc.
3° You MAY NOT use any of this songs for videos, flash games.etc without asking me for permission and giving credits to Nintendo Co., Ltd.
4° NO, You MAY NOT upload this to YouTube or other video/music sites.(except if is a video featuring the music with the respective permission)
5° You(obviously) MAY NOT make any profit with this album or songs.(this one goes with rule #3)

I think that's mostly it. So here's the Link to the album: 20 Years of Starfox

ENJOY!!  :D  :D

Remember I DO NOT OWN any of this songs, Nintendo OWNS StarFox franchise and all of its music.

P.S. I made some last-minute tweaks to a couple of songs.

You MAY NOT post or upload this album anywhere else without my permission or the permission of SF-O's Owner(i'm not sure about this last permission)

You don't need my permission for these. This is not an official SF-O release.

Nice. Reminds me of when I was seven years old sitting in front of my parents RCA tv and hearing that intro/title sequence music for the first time ever.

Hard to believe its been 20 years.

Thank you for this.

Disclaimer: I don't own the song I'm about to parody. It belongs to SNAP! And Star Fox belongs to Nintendo.

A/N: I actually came up with the concept of this song when I was 6. Back then, I was playing the original Star Fox game, and at the time I also heard that song. Plus, I used to think it was saying venom. I thought it would be a great parody, but I never really worked on the lyrics very much...Until about 2 decades later. I feel so old.

Anyway, this is a parody of the hit pop song, Rhythm is a Dancer by the German group, SNAP! And it describes the planet itself, on how it became a staple to the Star Fox series, and to many fans alike.
Venom is a Level, Parody of Rhythm is a Dancer by SNAP (1992)

Venom is a level, it's home of the devil
      Enemies are everywhere!
      Murder and destruction, final destination
      Disaster is in the air.
Oh, it's a poison. Oh, yes it does mean war
Oh, it's a poison. Oh, oh, oh, oh

Venom is a level, it's home of the devil
      Enemies are everywhere!
      Murder and destruction, final destination
      Disaster is in the air.
Oh, it's a poison. Oh, yes it does mean war
Oh, it's a poison. Oh, oh, oh, oh

Venom. You could see it, you could feel it
      Venom. Venom is a level

      (rap section)
      Toxic, barren, and Lylat's first
      Prepare yourself, expect the worst
      Bigger than the Earth itself
An epic dogfight with Star Wolf
      Favorite boss is the Phantron
The Great Commander is a con
      A lethal Arwing Obstacle Course
Let's take the monkey down by force
Like diving to the bowels of Hell
Blowing his brain up is just swell
      Andross is indeed the boss
He could use some dental floss
      James McCloud was murdered there
      Escaping Andross by a hair
      Venom is the final goal
      It's a challenge as a whole!

      Hello, you guys.
Back in the early 2002-2003 era, DZComposer had a real spiffy Corneria rock remix hosted on his site, Classicalhorn.com. While I briefly was able to download it, I lost the file due to some extreme circumstances and was not able to visit his site for several years. By the time I was freely roaming the Internet, his site was gone and I could no longer find it.
Would anyone happen to have a copy of this file from the original site? I do remember it would've probably just been simple corneria.mp3. Thanks.

My idea for a Star Fox game would be a massive multiplayer online game where people could pilot Arwings and either battle or race each other for galactic win. You could have a customization thing like Guitar Hero where you make not only your own ships but your own characters/wingmates. You could make furries and ships and then launch them into battle! In addition, there would be an adventure mode that would be offline. This mode would be similar to Star Fox Zero but it would be its OWN game and NOT a remake of Star Fox 64. This kind of idea IMO would save the series but only if done properly.

      Thoughts?

I really enjoy playing Star Fox on the Retro Duo Portable! For those who don't know there exists a handheld Super NES known as Retro Duo, and it plays Star Fox effortlessly. I can play it outside! The battery life is cool too.

      Hello everyone. ^^
My name is MidnightMike, and I'm here to show you my tribute animation to the original Star Fox, which celebrated it's 25th anniversary this past March.
I know it might not be as good as you were hoping, but I had fun making it. Here it is. :)
