I've heard a good portion of your voices

primarily over the TF2 server

but still, I've heard 'em...

and now, as I read your posts on the forums... I read them in y'alls voices...

Exec's shrill voice-cracky-ness

Xid's high pitched ZIMBABWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

DZ's deep manly-ness

Redeemer's fucking awesome accent

the list goes on...

so... am I the only one that does this?

Well, some like Hidi, DZ and Ajc, I try copying their voices to see how I sound, and say some of the stuff they said on the TF2 GameNights.

I think I killed my throat just tying to match Hid's voice...

I'm always up for a Skype party. Only people on Staff know what I sound like, so it could be interesting. o:

I only know what a select few people on this site sounded like and half of them dont even come on anymore. So no, I guess the normal voice in my head will have to do.

And SFO had Skype parties?

We have had a few, timezones really mess everyone up so it take a whole lot of organization. xD

I would leik to Skype.

I do the similar for the most part. But I'll be genuinlly honest that I've been reading Crazy's in Morgan Freeman's and Steve as Robert De Niro.

Exec's shrill voice-cracky-ness

 Is it that bad?

Well I tend to read posts in people's voices as well... When I know theirs as I know only a handful of those asdf

Mostly I can't attend to TF2 nights because of extreme lag. But I know some.

Am I the only here that thinks everyone here I've heard so far has good voices though? :-P

I have ALWAYS done this. Tends to be why I want to hear peoples voices so much. Little voice in my head is a lot more entertaining when I can attempt to emulate others with it.

A Skype party would forever traumatize me. Although I'd get to hear your voices better than in-game chat.

Why not just use mumble? It's what 99% of all TF2 players use anyways, at least in the comp scene.

And mumble sucks. Teamspeak is better.

Not for Tf2 it isn't, but I guess if you're using TS for other things outside of TF2 that's all fine and good.

I want my overlay. Plus, some of the teams I've played with since TAGC have adopted the overlay icons we used in TAGC's Mumble. It's really nice.

The answer to this question? Yes, when I do hear someone's voice enough, I can imagine what their voice while I read posts on the forums. The more I hear your voice, the more clear it is to me as I read.

LOL

I think I heard DZ's voice a while back on some of the old SF-O podcasts, but I haven't heard what Redeemer sounds like.

After seeing this, I kinda wish I could hear everyone's voice.
