How many SF communities are left?

6-10 years ago, there used to be a handful of starfox fansites with active communities that i used to ghost in. Arwing landing, Starwing HQ, and some others that I can't really bring myself to remember. Many of them seem to have gone under, which isn't too surprising for me, but its kinda sad to think about, since those where parts of my early days on the internet. So I have to ask, what SF communities are out there now? Is this one of the last places for a dedicated SF community?

You're looking at one of the last. Many of them died from cost or just general lack of management. Most of us here came from Arwing Landing and like hell that went to the bots.

This is one of the last. There might be like small forums here and there but this (along with like Krystal Archives if you want to count that, I'm not) is one of the last Starfox related forums out there.

I remember Arwing Landing and Krystal Archives by name, Never really visited there. SFO has been my home for Star Fox since I joined years ago.

mm, I figured. I'm honestly surprised that there are still Star Fox Communities anymore with the lack of games being released by nintendo until recently.

"We need your help, Star Fox!

Andross has declared war!

He's invaded the [Star Fox communities]...

and is trying to take over [Star Fox Online]!

Our army alone can't do the job! Hurry, Star Fox!" - modified from General Pepper's first quote in Star Fox 64, 1997, N64

That's how I can imagine it feels right now. Good thing so far, they are coming!

"It's about time you showed up Fox! You're the only hope for our world!" - General Pepper

"I'll do my best! Andross won't have his way with me!" - Fox McCloud

This is pretty much the only one with a active community on the forums

Holy fuck it is!

I thought that place died from space gonorrhea. To bad I can't register anymore.

To bad I can't register anymore.

NOBODY can register in the KLA anymore. Well, 2014 was a happy and sad year for the Starfox fandom: the reveal of Starfox U, but the end of sfx64.com. :(

It's carcass is still available on the IWB. Kill your curiosity/noslalgia: http://web.archive.org/web/20000819021411/http://www.sfx64.com/

Actually, I've been talking to EGM on KLA. I might be able to convince him to open up user registration if a large portion of people here are interested. I do see a lot of SFO users already members there too so there is still some, even minuscule, life there.

I imagine this site as Corneria, and Krystal Archives as Katina...and Arwing Landing as Titania. At least that Planet isn't plotting conquest against the entire Lylat System... yet...:|

I had an account on KLA, (Still do) but from the looks of it the place doesn't have much in the way of activity, these days, even with a new Starfox game on the way.

The role playing section is the only place on the site that has activity from what i am seeing on KLA

Also does Krystal Archive have a forum?

Off topic but am i the only one seeing double of this topic and it seems to be stuck as if i was the last one who posted even before posting this

The KLA is so fucking dead, just because the forums are still up doesn't mean it's alive.

It's goddamn good fun for me to dumpster dive the archives though.
