i'm kyokencl and as you cann see i'm new here

 

this is my 1st acount in a Star Fox forum (i love the saga , but i know very little the fandom, incluring fan pages , forums and related)

 

i meet the saga in the 64 era in around 97 by seeing the game in a store here in iquique but i manage to get the original game for a while before sold it by my parent with my SNES because we needed to pay some debts or something before getting my N64 with the Star Fox game with it

 

since then i was inspired by Fox and started to see it as spiritual master (most of the character in some cases taught me so much) and started to love foxes (do you see it when they are sleeping? they're so cute!)

 

at that time, internet was not an option in my house but a magazine here in Chile keep me informed about Nintendo and was a surprise when in a little news was showing a new kind of fighting game with Ninty all stars character with Fox included so i keep an eye on it until the game release( i wasn't able to get the game in release date or closer until the end of that year) and in the test play in the stores when the game release, almost everybody was playing or Link or Pikachu, and all of that faces looking me like i was a weirdo when i was the only one choosing Fox and in the few match we testing the looks were more akward when they seeing that character instead the other winning................yep....................the only Fox in the store beating a least 2 Pikachus and 1 Links in i guess 3 matches (sort like that my rival choosing in that time)

 

i got that game and become a inconditional fan but always focusing in the Star Fox universe inside that series

next then it was my dark era

i'm not explain why but i wasn't able to get a NGC ever so melee and the 2 Star Fox game were missing in my colection and technically i never played those games and the portable console was inclured without questioning (at least in that time) so Command was another that i cannot played before(however i manage to buy the VC game in my Wii U so when i get some time to play it i'll find more lore to process)

around  2009 i recover the line of an actual Ninty console and try somehow to get some games to play and be on date again, one of them was Brawl and after testing i tought: "this is not like vanilla, i can believe i lost so much info and playtime, maybe i'll never be able to be a strong player anymore(until now with Smash 4 its worse especiallity en Wii U, i'm sure will never get 100% of the game even when the popularity is over passing to the new one in the future)................so.......................start to learn how to play now this one and the next one upcoming(i mean Brawl and future ones in the series that in that time we didn't imagine in that time)

 

the moment when i started to dream to another Star Fox game in that time was hard until the 3DS anounncement ( the trailer of that console was showing an arwing if you can recall) and make me want that console and that posible game, i was desappointed when it wasn't 100% new game but a remake when 64 3D was announced but i wanted anyway with an after a little more than a year and half getting my own 3DS and an almost another year getting the game itself

 

i gotta admit.................the remake bring back very good memories

 

i wasn't played that much i wanted because most of my actual friends was into Pokemon in that time(and nowdays still prefering that series or another that wasn't Star Fox) so i left playing(i'm not playing but i still keep the cartrige...........if depends 100% on me, no mather how missing of money to pay bills or other stuff i needed, I NEVER SELL ANY OF MY GAMES NO MATHER IF I NOT PLAYING THAT ONE IN A LONG TIME, SELLING IS NOT AN OPTION)

now with a 3DS and a Wii U..........the playing not stop in most weeks and with the new Smash in the next corner i not missing that chance(this thinking it was arround early 2014) so when the time arrive i was able to preorder the 3DS version almost with a month of anticipation but................it wasn't arrive in my home until the 1st monday after release date cause a delay in the mail service (U-_-) and doing the same with the Wii U version its happen almost the same but not with the game itself but with the Fox's amiibo

always with those games focusing in the Star Fox series inside them (maining Fox and getting all related like trophies or music of the series)

now with the anounncement of a new game of the main series i'll try to learn again about the series i love and literally with a new beggining( i consider that SF Zero is a reboot of the whole series because the story is based in times of the beggining of the saga with now officially new content )

 

well

 

that was like ................my story with the series as my introduction, i want to learn more with you and also having a good time together

(if my english sometimes is hard to understand , keep that in mind that i'm from a latinamerican country where people there talk spanish, excluring Brazil of course)

Welcome to the website. To be honest, if you have not played Starfox Adventures or Starfox Command, you are not missing out on much. In fact, you are better off than those who have played the game.

i say i never bought those game but..................actually i played both GC game at least once and my opinion is not like "i ban this thing", i believe that those games gives another point of view and the gameplay is not bad, is different but not bad

and command i curious about this one, thats why i bought it in VC release date....................i'm sure at least that game can take me a smile somehow with a joke or something
