That Ain't Falco
To my knowledge, this post does not exist here. If I am wrong, please point it out. This post exists to document all known bugs, or unusual behavior, throughout released Star Fox games. 2 will not be counted, because it falls into a weird zone with this, as we only have a nearly complete beta with known issues. Other games, however, are completely fine. Standing on Arwings in Assault isn't a bug, either. By the way, effects achieved via cheating device and the ever present noclipping in flight sections are not bugs. The former is you messing with game code, the latter is intentional. Bugs will be organized by game. Let me begin with a few I have found, or have already known about. Star Fox (SNES) -I think I found a Wrong Warp glitch, took me to the unlisted map location for Out Of This Dimension, played no cutscene, crashed. Unsure how to reproduce, may just be an issue with my system/cartridge, potential error handler. After reboot post-crash, everything normal. Error occurred in lower path Corneria. Star Fox 64 -During the Star Wolf fight on Venom, ending the fight at the wrong distance away from the tunnel may lead to the Arwing infinitely looping around the tunnel as it autopaths. -After being forced into a U-Turn by leaving the fight area during the Andross Brain fight, then landing into the zone for getting rekt by the remnants of his central nervous system, the U-Turn camera angle still plays out, and you will initially take no damage, despite the screen flashing red several times as if you had. Sometimes, the invulnerability period from the turn just ends as soon as the attack begins. -The upper portion of Andross Brain's model has no hitbox. -Andross may "lag" mid teleport as the game tries to figure out where to put him. The game has a chance to place him right on top of your Arwing, making taking damage unavoidable. This only happens when he takes his sweet time to resurface, and only if you've been exploiting U-Turn invulnerability. -Due to a camera angle issue, you can see through the walls and into the endless void during the final chase -Nobody told Gorgon how to aim its laz0r at a barrel rolling object at the top right of the screen. -You can cancel dialogue by just shooting anyone to get them to complain. -You can cancel that dialogue if a scripted conversation occurs. -Falco can turn back while complaining about Solar's temperature, cutting himself off mid-sentence. -So can Slippy. Are you suuuure it can take those temperatures? Starfox Adventures -You can clip through snowbanks in some sections of the Snowhorn Wastes speederbike chase. -You go faster while clipping through some of these snowbanks than you do on the actual path. -Fox will often be rendered with incorrect lighting in ThornTail Hollow. Star Fox Assault -Exiting a Landmaster can push you through walls. Beware, as inside pretty much every wall exists a kill plane. Great way to accidentally die in Sauria. Might be useful for out of bounds exploration, if the kill planes weren't so mighty. -In Assault's multiplayer mode, it's possible to jump under the Titania stage by jumping at certain parts of the central tower. The player(s) can then run around and shoot at players from below the map, making them unkillable. (Submitted by Pgpaw3) Star Fox Command -Let's face it, this entire game is a glitch. Star Fox 64 3D -Good ol' Andy's hitbox issues are still present. Other (Stuff like the game watch, Assault's flash game, websites, Zero's E3 demo) -None, so far. SF Redd
Not being able to hit the top of Andross' brain is intentional, you're supposed to aim for the cerebellum. Interesting topic.

Interesting topic. I think by "hitbox" he means that there is no collision detection on it, so you can fly through it without taking damage. I haven't tested it though, so I can't confirm. The VGM Lover
Testing now. I'll update once I'm done. TEST COMPLETE. RESULTS: Yep. There is no collision detection on the top. I almost dug my arwing inside of it on the second try. Looks like that's as far down you can go, though, as my third attempt left me without a wing and 1/4 of my double-health on normal mode! That Ain't Falco
Yeah, not at all. Andross has weird collision, however. And yes, you can exploit this for a pretty easy damage-free run of his fight, combined with U-Turn invulnerability, and luck on his teleports.
The VGM Lover
Yep, though I'd usually just stick with teleporting him to avoid losing another wing.
That Ain't Falco
Found something weird in the SNES game. Deserved an update to this post.
