Image Hosting

Question

OneUnder

Most of the images that I've hosted on Photobucket have broken.  The site is also basically inaccessible to me now, as it rarely loads properly and offers nothing but excessive slowdown and frustration.

Are there any comparable, free image hosting sites that you'd recommend?

Imgur. Fast and Easy.

Literally killed Photobucket.

Really depends what I use, Imgur for that one forum game I had to abandon (since no was responding to it) but I mainly use Lightshot though namely, just opening the screenshot and copying the image link address so try that. Here's the Lightshot site too.

I always use imgur.  It's fast, it's free, it's comprehensive, and it comes with a built in image editor.  All right there on the imgur site.

I'm using my own server for this, but I understand it's not an option for everyone.
However, the forum software we'll switch to in the future has an image hosting sub-app built-in, but I assume it's rather something you will want to have now.

I guess IMGur will do well enough for the most part, but the only issue is, it's likely that IMGur will resize your images for no real reason.
And what's true for all free image hosters in general, they are permitted to take down your stuff whenever they please to, and if you mistakenly put up an embarrassing photo of yourself, there's no way to remove it by yourself.

Personally, I use and can recommend http://www.directupload.net/

At least for me, it's fast, easy to use and enables the uploads of multiple images at once.

Actually you can remove your own images from imgur.  Same with Photobucket.  I frequently put up and take down pictures from Imgur, and have in the past removed images from Photobucket.
