Although the game was alright, The story was just a complete mess with it's 9 endings mostly making the game non canon after Assault. In 2016 we got Zero, Which was supposed to be a reboot of the franchise making Star Link kind of a direct sequel after. If you're asking for a sequel to Star Link although it isn't 100% Star Fox it's entirely up to Nintendo's decision to make one which could be very well possible.
