DZComposer
Ever since I played Twilight Princess, I knew I had to do an arrangement from it. It is a powerful score, I would dare say one of the finest to come from Nintendo. I also wanted to start up my Lylat Brass series of brass ensembles again, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone. I know the title is cheesy, but making the title a weird raping of the game's title is something that I've done with Lylat Brass form the beginning! The piece opens with TP's title screen music. I was originally going to drop that last chord and then move into the next song in the medley, but then I remembered something that Leroy Andersen did in his Christmas classic, Sleighride: He used a trumpet to imitate a horse. I figured that I may as well try this making brass instruments sound like animals thing (though not a horse in this case). This is what I came up with: http://www.corneriasound.com/betamusic/lbtp001.mp3 Pretty cool , eh? Oh, that's a trombone, BTW.
Mr. Krystal
Interesting wolf noise!
Four-eyed Vulpine
You're quite talented, and I like what you've got. Listening to that wolf noise at the end, the glissando pretty much gave away the fact that a trombone made the noise, ^_^
DZComposer
Here is an update. I love how this is turning out. If it continues going this well, this will be by far the best Lylat Brass piece yet. http://www.corneriasound.com/betamusic/lbtp002.mp3
DZComposer
Update! Current cue list: Title Screen Ordon Ranch Leaving Ordon Hyrule Field Zelda's Theme After Zelda's Theme will be Midna's Theme followed by the castle town BGM. But those parts aren't written yet. http://www.corneriasound.com/betamusic/lbtp003.mp3 I also found another, softer, trombone to use for the howls. I added another part for it as well. I remember a part in the game, I think when you get the Master Sword, where you have to howl Zelda's theme. This howl was a pain to program, but I think it is worth it.
