Weasel_Silver24
I don`t know how to make my signature picture to show up, like Dzcomposer and others. Can someone help me, please? Thanks. P.S. I didn`t know where to post this subject, and if I`m in the wrong spot please excuse me for that.
Mr. Krystal
None of the forum software allows the use of HTML. They instead use bbcode. It's the same code you get when you click the buttons above the text of a post. So, all you have to do is edit one of your posts so that you can see your sig in that, and then copy that code into your sig. Hint: Use the [ img ] tags. Weasel_Silver24
Oohh! Now, I think I get it. Thank you!
TakeWalker
You'll have to find somewhere else to host it, since Angelfire doesn't allow remote linking. I suggest getting an account at Photobucket or something like that.

Gene Inari
You'll have to find somewhere else to host it, since Angelfire doesn't allow remote linking. I suggest www.fileden.com Not only can you upload pictures, you can upload just about anything and DIRECT LINKS!
foxbird22
I agree, I've seen multiple problems with Photobucket. Normally, I upload my (small) files to places like Geocities or Wikipedia...I have a Geocities site, which is more of less completely inactive, so I just pop my pictures on there when I need to link to them. Wikipedia is also nice, if you're involved in a Wiki. That's where my two signature images are linked from. By the way, fileden looks AWESOME! I'll keep it in mind.
Weasel_Silver24
Quote from Gene Inari: Bah, Photobucket is junk in my opinion. I suggest www.fileden.com Uh! That`s a good suggestion, and I check them out, but they don`t seem have a "Secure (Encrypted) uploading" on their free services. I`ll find something that will work, but I`ve a question. What`s wrong with "Photobucket"?
Gene Inari
The main problem I've had issues with is their size restrictions, both file and pixel size. It's only a problem for big images, but I prefer my fileden anyways. Ad to prove you can upload whatever... http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/27/830305/001_-_title_theme_%28long%29.mp3 Feel free to Right-Click and Save-As. DZComposer
Uh! That`s a good suggestion, and I check them out, but they don`t seem have a "Secure (Encrypted) uploading" on their free services. Why do you need encryption for uploading a forum signature? Man-in-the-middle attacks against regular users are extremely rare. Most worms ("viruses") use buffer overflow vulnerabilities in software that would nail you whether you were using SSL or not. SSL is for privacy and does not act as a firewall or other network attack prevention device. It only prevents someone from either reading what you are sending or man-in-the-middle attacks, which you shouldn't worry about as they are rare against end-users. Most MITM attacks are against larger networks with something worth gaining access to.
