Most endings have that happening, so until next game we'll have to work with that. Star Fox has just defeated the Anglars, Fox apologizes to Krystal for kicking her off the team, Krystal apologizes and says she was being ungrateful for what Fox had done. Command does not exist canonically in my mind, though neither does Assault. xD If he does stay as her boyfriend, I can see them like one of those couples that never get married, but stay together. Remember that interview with Imamura a while back that got the whole site in an uproar? He said that Command is the last game in the time line, so any other games will take place in the past. We could debate for pages and pages what would be the most canonical ending. One could even say all are canon in regards to this is what would happen if so and so did this or that. However, the only true way to tell is how Nintendo decides to dabble with the series in the future. It is a fun discussion, but it can go in circles. At least we the fans are discussing the possibilities, pondering on what the next game will bring. That's what makes a game very marketable in the future. I've asked Dylan Cuthbert about the fate of Krystal and he said, "I don't know quite what the future has in store for Krystal, we'll all have to wait and see what Imamura-san comes up with.I'm sure that whatever happens, it'll be interesting!"
