Favorite Arwing and/or Wolfen model

Your opinions are wanted.

My favorite model is the Assault model. I love the design.

If anything, I want that model and the model shown in Brawl combined.

Oh, and the Rainbow Delta Wolfen from Command looks hardcore. Combine that with Assault's model and we're talking about awesome.

The bullfrog was more bulky if you ask me and  if you think that's big and bulky what about these real world planesB-2c-130 cargoC-130 gunshipChinookUH-1huey

I am going to have to say the adventures one. Maybe if it were new-looking and had a more pointy tip. But then again, it added to the plot point that they needed tons and tons of money.

That was a stripped out version with an added cargo compartment. Basically the Van of the starfox team.

Me, I simply love the design of the Assault Wolfens. There are some changes I'd like to see, but they came pretty close to nailing it for me.

The Assault Arwing is my favorite model Arwing. It's pretty slick and it's design is a throwback to the original SNES Star Fox.

I liked the 64 model the best. The Adventures one looks a lot like the X-wing (with that long nose), and the Assault one just wasn't as cool to me, probably because it was bigger.

That being said, the Wolfen in Assault is my absolute favorite. It looks like it was built around the engines and the gun, and that's the way to build a good fighter.

And Kursed, there's a rule for earth-bound workhorse planes like that. Basically, it doesn't have to look good to fly, it just needs big engines and big wings. A brick will fly if you give it enough thrust. (that was the idea behind the F-4, which turns out to be one of my favorite fighters... http://www.collingsfoundation.org/images/f4%201.gif)

the F-4 Phantom was a great plane of it's time If I recall.

my point  is  it doesn't have to look good to fly  epesiaclly in space in space heck you could fly a boulder at the speed of sound with little force. and if I recall

it looks very aerodynamic to me heck the whole front section besides the cockpit is a wing. Heck it's almost no diffrent than this pretty fighter. i don't judge a plane by it's looks that's why i like the  so called 'ugly' A-10 ,but beauty is in the eye of the beholder so heck what you like you like

The cloud runner there looks a heck of a lot more aerodynamic then most of the things I fly. And I definetly agree with you there, I think the A-10 is nicer looking then the hornet... in fact, nicer then quite a few planes, IMHO.

back on topic, maybe I should seriously check out some of the ships from command... I never paid attention to them in the eyestrain-o-vision screens on the DS.

Heh-heh... Military aviation in my threads? That's what I like. A-10s are amazing, along with the F-4.

Oh, and I forgot about the Wolfen Mk. II! Though, I think they took some aspects of the Mk. II and combined them with the Mk. I to create Assault's Mk. III.

Out of Command's Arwings, I liked the regular Arwing Mk. II (It shoud be Arwing Mk. III or IV if you count Adventures's Arwing as a seprate model), the Assault Arwing (Why they named it the original Arwing and gave it to James, I still have no idea), and the Bullfrog (The Bullfrog IMO was built for heavy attack, seeing how it has a large bomb load and plasma cannons).

so what model would the starfox 2 version be if it had been a actual game?

Well, I go by the game timeline, but if I included SF2, it would look like this:

MK. I SF64, MK. II SF2 (Assuming that after 64, the events from SF2 could happen), Modified MK. II Adventures or just MK. III, MK. VI or MK. III Assualt, and Mk. V/VI in Command.

That's how I see it.

Ya, you're right :)

Anyways in command the only one that I played that I liked was Slippy's ship, it was a bit more powerful, but I only got to play Fox, Slippy and Peppy's daughter if I can remember right...

Edit: Look at this beauty :)

^ must have a pretty massive avionics suite to constitute the large nose, but I love the shape, especially the high-aspect ratio wings.

@ Draco, thanks for the explanation of the Wolfen models, I was about to ask about that.
