Star Fox Runner
I went to see this movie just the other day, and I loved it! What did you all think of this movie?
Guest Para Astaroth
I thought it was pretty good, but it would've been better if they introduced the people helping Sherlock.
Sabre
I dont plan on seeing this. They already modernised sherlock holmes. It's called house.
Showtime 1-1
I have to side with Sabre here, as awesome as the movie does look, it doesn't really keep true to the original Sherlock Holmes. I'm a sucker for the originals. I always thought that House, or the guy from The Mentalist (Patrick Jane?) were more similar to the original Holmes. That being said, I really don't think that this movie would have gone over well if they hadn't disguised it as Holmes. Downey Jr. probably wouldn't have taken the role, and nobody would have any interest in a movie based in the steam-punk, Industrial revolution era. I might go and see it, if I ever get over this case of box-office apathy.
Guest Julius Quasar
I dont plan on seeing this. They already modernised sherlock holmes. It's called house. Good one!Plus, I hate Robert Downey Jr. He's always causing trouble, and getting away with it.
Sabre
I'm serous. House was a modernisation of sherlock holmes, with germs instead of murders."...Anytime one says 'puzzle' and 'brilliant deduction' in the same sentence, one can't help but think of the great fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick, Dr. Watson. And indeed, Holmes -- and the real-life physician that inspired him, Dr. Joseph Bell -- were very much inspirations for 'House.'"...Shore also hopes to draw more parallels to Holmes by drawing House's best, and likely only, friend, oncologist Dr. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), into the Watson role."We're looking for Wilson to step up in that regard, as House's everyman, leaning over his shoulder and going, 'How'd you do that?' And more important, 'Why'd you do that?'...." Also theres the names.House HolmesWatson Wilsonect ect ect.
