Peppy wasn't really old.  He was 42 during the Lylat Wars.  That's still pretty young, at least as a pilot.  He could have retained his reflexes into his 60s.

I was going to save this for later ,but I guess i'll say it now.

Krystal is attractive and good looking becauese like most femal charters  nobody want's to play a ugly lady. Saying that Krystal has sex appeal  is basicly saying "I agree" With the  Fan's that made every other female game charater a sex appeal.

Doesn't change the fact that she has sex appeal. Just look at the responses from people like FoXXX and JuliusQuasar. That they think she's sexy at all is proof that she has the appeal.

And you know what? I -would- like to see an old hag in a video game as a playable character. It would be new and interesting.

Krystal's body type is status-quo. She's right up there with Lara Croft, Joanna Dark, Sheena Fujibayashi, Zero Suit Samus, etc. They're all there to appeal to the "hormonal male" crowd. Maybe if Nintendo put Krystal in a heavy jacket and snowpants, I'd believe that she wasn't designed with sex in mind, but as long as they keep putting her in either revealing or tight-fitting clothing, it's a pretty logical conclusion that that is part of her character.

Well, considering that slutty Krystal does nothing but decrease my respect for the entire direction of the franchise, I'd prefer Krystal being a strong dignified woman. X3 You know, if Krystal has to be in a Star Fox game at all. :3 She could be like Samus - Power Suit Samus, not Zero Suit Samus.

And I have to say, for once, that female characters in games have or/and are becoming more "revealing" or "sexy" these days. To me, this reflects on our society nowadays. If you notice, children right now are starting to become more comfortable to the sex media around them. I mean, media such as a simple poster on a wall, showing a woman butt naked except for the fact that her arms are covering her breasts. Or TV shows as recent as Family Guy. I remember there is one episode where an image is shown on the episode revealing Peter Griffin with his lower half of his body revealed - All of it.

But that's just my observation of these past few years. I think we're getting off topic.

You can be gaudy and not be a slut. Unless you live in the middle east of course (Politically, not racially). And the reason I'm into Krystal is that she's hot, but isn't vulgar or over suggestive.

Also, if Krystal was not in the Star Fox franchise, it would probably fail because it would never grow up. Like Pokemon used to be really popular until it strayed behind its intended audience. Ash never got a GF (I actually suspect he *Brick'd*

If there's one thing i've learned about her, she's not sluttly (that would be katt and/or Miyu).

I have a way of knowing people just by looking at them. Krystal's personality and how she interacts with others is one of the.....greatest I've ever seen in any person, real or fictional.  That is one reason why she make an impact on me and especially one of my best friends from the KLA however the way she's portrayed can often disrupt a delicate mindset balance between "good (personality/character) and evil (perverted portrayal)"
