Which of your favorite franchise should have an M-rated eddition?

This is a thread where we discuss which of our favorite gaming franchise you think would have an M-rated edition. As always, no flaming, let's be adults here. For me, maybe Star Fox because I'd like to see one that'd go good with Fredryk's Star Fox animated series. An M-rated Metroid would be perfect, they'd just have to make it bloodier and I'd be happy. Metroid is after all the darkest franchise Nintendo has. Maybe an M-rated Ninja Turtles game since the original Ninja Turtles graphic novel was really gritty.

Rated AO Star Fox :D

Too high!

I think if Star Fox had an M-rated it'd have scenes like this:

:fox: *eaten by Galdon, shoots it's uvula getting blood on his clothes, vomited up* *gets up* Oh sh@#...

-----

:krystal: *in a deadly fight with the Sharpclaw, has to cover her chest*

:fox: *kills the Sharpclaw* Oops. Sorry about that. *backs away slowly*

:krystal: Just throw me the da@# top!

:fox: *passes it to her*

:krystal: *turns around to tie it back on* You peek and I'll kick your a@#.

-----

:wolf: So you let them get away?....

:panther: ......Yes...

:wolf: You know how that makes me feel.....*violently slashes Panther across the face, then licks blood off his claw*

Star Fox + Beer = M-rated =  :P

That's pretty much what Fred's giving us. A cross between Starship Troopers and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

None of them. I don't want "mature" games. "Mature" games actually means "disgusting/immature" games. I've yet to see a game that got an M rating for themes that are intellectually difficult for children to understand. It's always been for gratuitous violence, sex, or some other thing best avoided entirely.

You could say that about books, film, music ect. Also, take CoD4, Halo, Bioshock, those be themes I bet a kid doesn't get.

No, it's not. When you shoot someone, they don't explode in bloody fountains.

Blood is life-giving, silly. Lack of blood inside someone HURTS people. Shooting people and these gory deaths remove blood and vital organs, which does hurt people. Honestly, your statement makes no sense.

I *do* say that about books, film, music, etc. I don't like "mature" media because it's not fit for human consumption, not just child consumption. Make no mistake, I don't support censorship, but I wholeheartedly support people intentionally not choosing to view destructive and crude media. Halo, Bioshock, and all that, were not rated mature for their difficult-to-understand themes, it's for the cursing and the gory violence.
