Since I've been gone from the Star Fox fandom for a good decade, I want to learn a little more about how people are in today's fandom.

Not involved, but I'm pretty much a guy that likes balance on everything so I still find it very much acceptable , otherwise, why would I be hereĀ  :P

I am not a furry in any way, but I have no problem with furries being in the fandom. To each his own.

Guess I can say I've been a furry/scaly most of my life. Just that I didn't realise there was actually a name for it til about a year ago. I tought it was normal that guys drew anthro dinosaurs with huge muscles and guns when they were kids.

Still, while I think anthro characters are awesome for some reason I'm not entirely sure of yet. I'm not at the stage that I believe I have an inner animal, and that I dream of becoming an anthro myself. I'm very happy with who I am at the moment, looking for a very much human female to share the rest of the life with. If that woman however also happened to be a furry of the same dedication as me, then great!

Would you believe me if I said that I am in a similar situation?

I mean, I grew up watching furry cartoons

(Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny...ect.) so I thought it was pretty common

to fan-draw such characters. It was between this year and the last

that I came to know what a "furry" is (and the *MANY*... er...

variants, can I call them that way? of being a furry)...

I also like scaly characters a bit because I used to play PC ports

of D&D games (and as you know many of them had Draconians,

Dragons...ect.).

Pretty much this, though I would prefer being a bipedal, talking canid due to the sheer badassness. That, and I tend to not like humanity as a whole. But still, pretty much what Asper said.

I'm a furry because of Fox, and then Krystal :)

Like Asper said, I don't believe I have an inner animal, I was born a human, that's the way it is, always will be that way, but that doesn't mean Star Fox isn't a big part of my life :)

Definitely a furry, mostly for the reasons that DRL and Asper have stated.Ā  :DĀ  Although if I had to choose between being human or a furry, I'd probably take the latter.

I disowned furries a long time ago. I have the full story somewhere, but basicly the cliche that they are all mostly gay beastiality fetishists came true at a furmeet I was at. I still like the characters, but I avoid andd distence myself the pervered, drama fueled scene.

Slightly involved. For one, I am a furry because I love viewing and drawing anthro arts along with using my own fursona/anthro in Role Plays and such. Also with DRL, I used to watch "furry" cartoons as a kid, and of course there's games like Star Fox.

Similar to what Sabre experienced. I did try to get involved with the furry community at one point, but then my friend suggested it's definitely a bizarre community (he's a furry too). After communicating with a few furries, boy...was he right. So, as of late, I keep my distant away from...'the not so exactly normal' furries. :?

I've never had any desire to go to furmeets.Ā  But that doesn't mean I'm not involved. :3 I have a FurAffinity account, I make comments, I keep favorites, etc.

I love anthros, especially foxes/vixens! :D

I been a furry for the longest time, and I got

Star Fox to thank for stoking my interest in it.
