Important PoF question

I really need a verdict on this, because I have conflicted feelings about PoF.

I feel restricted because of the Star Fox theme. I have borders I can't cross thanks to abiding by the rules and laws of the Star Fox world.

And I feel that if I removed the Star Fox content and created a completely new furry game, I'd lose a lot of people who were interested in it being a kind of "lost chapter" to Star Fox (since it was set between Adventures and Assault)

If any of you have any additional input on this, please be sure and post it. I'd like to hear any help you guys have to offer.

Personnly jack what I've heard from your story line  I was pretty interested in seeing all that work together as far as the storline as well as  the replay value.

What really caught my attention to this mod was the ability to slow down time for brief seconds and take out badies.  (And I already know it's a Max Payne 2 mod). I've imagined what the Starfox world would be like to have Max Payne physics and this game has drawn my utmost attention.

DO stay with the project, Tomas.  If it's not Starfox appendable, then at least use some of the fan charcters you have, or other people have requested, into that game.  If you do come to the dreadful conclusion to drop the Starfox universe theme, then a Jack Thorn's backstory game would be interesting.

I'll follow it no matter what direction you take it, although I would prefer it to stay as Star Fox I would still play it even if it wasn't as the screens you have showed us look very promising.

I say you should keep the Star Fox theme.

Maybe you can add stuff non-ralted to Star Fox,

but the 'main' theme being Star Fox is surely a good idea.

Well having it be starfox in the first place pretty much got everyone's attention, the main story still has the main starfox characters and they are still doing missions and stuff, sure there is alot of fan characters, but who cares, hell its even cooler since you have other people's characters in there.

But it's your mod so its your decision (either way I get to voice angelo  )

I would say stay with Star Fox, because think about it. If you were to change the Star Fox theme to something else, you would have to overhaul a lot of things, and it would set you back quite a bit work-wise.

Hes got a point there, it would probably have to make you go back and change.....well a crap ton of things.

I'd say go for Starfox. Saving you a lot of work, and makes it more interesting for us Starfox fans.

To be honest, that's what putting me off. The huge amount of fan characters, some of which I know in RL, and they are irritating. Since they are all athor serogates, there's going to be alot of 1upsmanship and shallow "I'm the coolest" characters that I think the story will desolve into a penis contest.
