Eye color can be magnetic, or creepy, or anywhere inbetween.  Personally, I love great variety of eye color, especially since my own eyes (both IRL and Dermot's) are a rare eye color - I don't personally know anyone with the same color eyes as me.

I fully expected most of the votes to have brown eyes.  More than half the world's population has brown eyes, and in some parts of the world they're the only eye color of indigenous people.

My eyes - grey - are very rare in the world.  But where grey eyes are most found are in two parts of the world: the Baltic Sea coast, and northern India.  Grey eyes also have a reputation for being "enchanting".  When J.R.R. Tolkien designed his particular fictional elves, he wrote them so that nearly all of them have grey eyes.  The most beautiful described elf, Lúthien Tinúviel, has the most perfect grey eyes.

Honestly, I never really saw what the big deal was. X3 Since grey eyes are so rare, for years everyone assumed them to be a washed-out blue, and I would sometimes look in the mirror and think, "Why do I have to have such an bland shade of blue eyes?"  Then when I finally learned that grey eyes are actually a genuine distinct eye color (just very rare), it all made sense.  My grey eyes don't seem so bland anymore.  If your "blue" eyes are the same hue as the clouds of an overcast sky, you just might have grey eyes, not blue eyes.

Also look out for amber eyes - they are a genuine distinct eye color, but they are often seen as a light brown (simply because amber eyes are simply less commonly known).

i say that because if you look at the shallow water in the ocean that is near the beach(more or less 3-15 yards) you will se the color of my eyes
