WIP Krystal player Player model for Gmod and Unreal Tournament 3

In Febuary another Krystal fan i know asked me to make a request on the Facepunch Forums for somone to do a Remake of a Krystal Player Model for a Steam Game Called Garrysmod, she couldn't do it herself because she didn't have an account on there.

Like i promised i made the thread and got a reply from a user about an hour later, He said that there had already been a thread about it which has been going on for a while.

When i found the thread it seemed that the last person working on it gave up and left his work on a storage site a few months back. I saw that as an oppertunity to get my chance to start working mods myself.

But it was alot harder then i thought it would be.... after about an hour of trying to figure the stuff out; i gave up and did my usual internet surfing to clear my head....

After a few clicks i found myself in a site called "The Krystal Archive" (yeah that was my first time on the site) when i got on the home page i got a little creeped out, (cosplay isn't really my thing) but i noticed the 3d projects section and found an assault model.

Since i couldn't open the original files, i thought i'd use this version.

I then made a new Request thread on Facepunch forums if someone could possibly give me a hand while i still work on it at the same time. After a few weeks people started to notice the thread, Thats when a user named: Shakeno offered to give me a hand with a slightly moddified version of the model that i had, which he was also working on for Unreal Tournament 3 and UT99

And Since then he's been woking hard on all 3 of them

And has been doing a pretty good job of it so far.

Infact He just uploaded some of his work on the UT3 version to the thread.

He's also Added Team colors for the UT3 version

It'll hopfully be ready in a month so keep your eyes on the thread

There hasn't been much word on the source version,

He's saving that for last.

If your using gmod 9, then its likly it won't.....

ooh    when this is out for gmod 10 pm me I've been looking for one of these as well as a new ragdoll because well to put it simply my current krystal ragdoll sucks.

Well... no...

He's pretty much in charge of the thing now, at least until he finishes the source rigging.

i'm going to try and work the rest out with SDK once thats out of the way. not to mention there's a possibility that i may need help with some scripting....

EDIT: oh! no i didn't make the first one, that was originally made by some guy called Invisghost or something like that. but it seems he used the original files to make it.

Yeah, cosplay isn't anyone's thing... at first. Give it time.

UPDATE!!!: Shakeno's just posted some new image's for the UT3 version on the 3rd page of the thread!!!

Crash and burn sombody beat you guys to the Gmod krystal playermodel And ragdoll although she's not in cannon clothes she lokos pretty good.

I suppose you guys could still make her though i mean she's not in assault clothes.

Hmm... thats a surprise..

But it looks like a 2 * model if u ask me, plus it doesn't look like that one is face posable either.

Besides it looks like that guy made it for personal use since its not on garrysmod.org

I haven't uploaded it on garrysmod.org because it's not finished yet. The face IS currently posable, but I'm in the process of adding as many different expressions as I can (about the same amount as Alyx, to allow Alyx replacement mods).

Update: The Unreal tournnament 3 character model is now partially finished!!!

Shakeno sent me his current work to test it out and so far there aren't to many problems, but it still has yet to make a release.

Shakeno is currently Working on the source Version, But i've decided to work on a serprate model For practice.

I've just started the process of rigging, but the female rig in the source addon doesn't fit well with the brawl model. So i'm going to cross my fingers and Shorten the arms and legs of the skeleton, and hopefully it will still work.

I'm going to remind you guys that most of my knowledge on source is from tutorial's. So it might not come out at all. This stuff ain't exactly easy.

I'll be working on this all day and i'll be sure to have a small update by the end of the day.
