Asper Sarnoff
This thread always pops up quite regularly. I tought it was about time for another go at it.The question is: Do you have a pet? If so, tell us a little about it, and perhaps post a few pictures. In the family, we've always had dogs. Five females in total over the years, tough I've only experienced four of those. And with the exception of a Norwegian Lundehund which we couldn't keep, they've all been Bernese Mountaindogs. The Bernese Mountaindog is quite large, and closely related to the St. Bernhard, except it doesn't have those floppy lips which makes them drool all over the place, and a generally lighter built. Also entirely different colors and markings. Our current bitch (Yes, that's what female dogs are called, believe it or not.) is getting 5 years old in June, and is named Kaisa. She's clearly the most carefree and cuddly one we've had so far, and that says a lot. When we have visitors, she just walks up to them, sits down by, often ON, their feet and looks at them with big puppy eyes untill they start cuddling with her. She's also very ingenious. Often grabbing pillows in her mouth, carrying them up on the sofa and placing them undeneath her head as she lies down, some times on her back like a human would. Naturally, we've never allowed her to do this, so as soon I get up in the morning, she hurries down and act like nothing. Here's a picture from when she was a couple of months old. This is of her and her sibling, she's the one on the far right, cocking her head curiously.http://home.online.no/~hilmarsa/images/ValperK-kullalle2.jpgHere, she's half a year old, and this is where she won second place in her class on a dog show.http://home.online.no/~hilmarsa/images/KreativeKaisa5mnd.jpgThe two attachments were taken this winter. So, do you have a pet?[Pruned to save disk space]
ThePointingMan
I gots the greatest cat ever! I guess I can't really say that...Anyways I got a cat, she fallows me around everywhere, I go upstairs she goes upstairs, I go down stairs she goes down stairs, I can take her for a walk, with no leash, and she fallows me until we reach a certain distance from the house, she will just stop then, if I keep going she waits there, once I return she'll come out of where evr she was hiding and we will run back (This is what we did whilst delivering newspapers). Although she fallows me... Alot of my friends are absolutely convinced she is evil, she bites, and scratches frequently, but less so to members of the family, only then if you irratate her, which... happens often. Another thing, my cat is not aloud on my bed, and she knows it, if I'm in she doesn't care, but if someone walks downstairs, she instantly bolts outa my room, cause she knows she shouldn't be there...AlsoShe's also very ingenious. Often grabbing pillows in her mouth, carrying them up on the sofa and placing them undeneath her head as she lies down, some times on her back like a human would. Naturally, we've never allowed her to do this, so as soon I get up in the morning, she hurries down and act like nothing.Haha!
Eagle Kammback
Ozzy, my purebread mutt, he's about 10 now.Has arthritis in his hind legs. but when he runs, you can't tell, when he "jogs" you canwas run over by a truck about 5 years ago, and lived to tell about it, not the smartest dog, but he's tough, though he whines at everything. I love him, though he spends all day and night sleeping[Pruned to save disk space]
Guest Julius Quasar
We have 3 VERY spoiled cats, whose lives mean more to my parents than mine.Growing up in this crappy house, ALL the cats we had over the years, they were treated better than I was..."This one kitty is worth 1,000,000 of me" is what I always had to recite, after mom and dad wold yell at me for forgetting to feed the cat or clean its cat box.You can relate this little story to the feds or the press if they ask any of you why you think I snapped and became a criminal. He has this line that goes across his nose, just a kind of part in the fur really, but it reminds me of , and that drives me up a wall when I see it. Guest FoXXX
When I was 8 years old my dad bought a Pomeranian, get ended up getting rid of it because it was too expensive for us to take care of, then when I was 13 and started going through my hip pain, my parents bought a dachshund dog, my fucking dad made me take care of it in pain. We had to get rid of that dog because hitting it was getting too hard on my dad's back (lol) Then 3 years ago, my parents bought the dog they have now, I wonder how long they're going to keep it lol

It is your parents who are doing the stuffwrong. Personally I would not mind treating mykids and pets at a similar level, however, noone is 'more important' than the other to me...Well, °parents°. I used to say "well parents, I maybe a fool, but you come from Pluto." (for those whodo not get it, Pluto does not have a 'core'. What I meanto my parents was 'you have no heart'. )...O-T: Here is my kitten, or well, Old CatLady Reina.Reina ("Queen") is the only cat we <>I<> have now...And the story is an interesting (at least to me) one:She had two brothers, Tommy ("Tommy") and Rey ("King"),who very similar to her, however their fur was shorter andit´s color was gray. Before, she and her 5 brothers weresaved from death by my mother, althrough 3 of the kittensdied of illness... Those who survived I already said their names. As time went by, Rey feel in love during a visit to our neighbour´s house; an old woman who had a few cats...and some female cats, too .So when we moved, we tried to get him back, but the old ladybegged us to leave him there, so we left him...A month later, at our temporary new home (which was my grandmother´s house), things werenot going very well, but here the "cat-god of love" preyedon Tommy. Yeah, Tommy feel in love with one of mygrandmother´s cats, a three-coloured cat.So when we moved again, he did not come with us...Years have passed, and Reina is still with us.Even through my mother says Reina is "hers"the cat often sleeps next to me on my bed,and comes to me when she feels lonely orwhen I feel sad. I know her quite well.He does not like my father´s and my brother´s'games', because they usually treat her as a toyin said 'playtime', and shortly they get mad ather because she gets made at them and showsit by using her claws, a thing they hate.My lovely Reina has one big dream: food.Yes, her dream is that one day, the entire Earthbecomes cat food, so she can just eat and eatand eat and... well you get the idea. I really adore this cat. She is beatyful, kind, nice, playfull, and loyal... What more I can ask?Oh well, here are a few images of her I tookwith my cellphone... Forgot to mention: She HATES IT when youdisturb her when she is trying to sleep. [Pruned to save disk space]
