CrypticQuery
no we would make laws prevented more population like there doing in china! There's always euthanasia. (KIDDING!!! ) I always wonder though, if they deal with animal population with euthanasia, what is so wrong about doing it to humans? ThePointingMan
Okay, I created this thread for people to discuss the doomsday fanatics new pet peeve. According to many people, humanity is responsible for letting out so many gasses that increase the greenhouse effetc that the earth will experience a significant and potentially fatal rise in its temperature. While others, me included, do think that humanitys contributions is just a drop in the ocean and that global warming is a completely natural process, and without it, there wouldn't excist life on earth. At least nothing more than some microscopic bacterias and virus. Also, saying humanity has contributed to change the fragile balance in this system is also quite the overstatement.Only 0.28 % of the greenhouse effect can be attributed to humanity and our actions. Directily and indirectlyThis doom and gloom some "scientist" are trying to spread is nothing more than a natural process, the like of which the earth has experienced countless times since its creation.People believe earth itself is constant. Nothing could be further from the truth.Moder nature walks whereever she wants, and all we can do is hang on as best we can and enjoy the ride. This does not however mean we should throw caution to the wind, and steamroll ahead like we're used to. While our emissions doesn't contribute to a global crisis, I'm sure many of those who live in large cities would really like to breathe a little easier. Trying to avoid the exctintion of other races should also be of high priority. So, if anyone's got any thoughts about the subject. This is where to post them. Keep to the forum rules, especially those regarding discussion of politics. It's easy to get sidetracked to that on this subject.Exactly what my grandpa always says on the subject. I am in agreance.animals are dumb and preety much emationless where we humans have emotions and intellgience! Also yeah, animals have inteligence... A different form of intelegence maybe, but inteligence none the less.

Geo Stelar
From what I've learned, The greenhouse effects are caused by us humans, directly or indirectly, and global warming is how Nature acts to it. As more pollution grows, larger parts of the ozone layer breaks. These holes in the ozone layer lets in more heat from the sun, which are, in turn, trapped by the greenhouse gases. The areas which are in line with the broken art of the ozone layer experience more heat, because the ozone layer can't protect that area anymore.BUT:If we won't use gas-powered vehicles, won't use things that release CFC's, will plant many trees instead of cutting them down, will clean the garbage-full rivers and lakes (and other water bodies) of some countries, and use only eco-friendly cars (bikes are better), for at LEAST HALF A YEAR, EARTH WILL HEAL ITSELF, THE OZONE LAYER WILL BE REPAIRED BY NATURE, AND THE GLOBAL WARMING WILL BE NO MORE. Geo Stelar
Good point, although why the huge yellow text? (I use large yellow text in these kind of nature-related and very serious topics. Another reason is for others to see my post and will catch their attention so they would read it, but I'm not spamming my post.)

Although the last paragraph (especially the part that we won't use gas-powered vehicles), I don't think some people will do whole-heartedly, especially now where our technology is rising to new levels. Some would just sit around and do nothing. Healing Earth requires all people in it to work as one and unite. We still have time to do something. Everything we do counts. We may differfrom 'Global Warming' butwe do contaminate.I think that we should focusin decontamination processes...no we would make laws prevented more population like there doing in china! You can not stop people from breeding. In fact, in China, for every kid you havethere are taxes, and not 'support'like in other countries, e.g.: Mine´s.
