Vy'drach
While it's been a long time since I've seen digimon, I remember thinking that Renamon was a bad ass, as I do like foxes, and I believe she had the same kind of attitude that I do.Unfortunately, she is quite popular among furverts for being, "sexually appealing" for some reason, and much like Krystal, is used quite frequently in yiff. Scott7
I actually watched the season she was in when a kid back in 2001. yeah she was cool, dark, secretive, and yeah "badass", yet somehow polite and kindhearted at the same time. But there was that one episode or 2 when she pretty much lost her mind, but that series is kind of blurry to me so i can't remember to much about the season completely. :/

Fits of insanity aren't necessarily a bad thing for me, so it just adds to the badassness, and Digimon has its moments, but most of them weren't aired on American versions of the show, however, such as the reference in one of them to H.P. Lovecraft and his creature, Dagon. The second season of the Digimon anime series featured creatures that resembled the Deep Ones. Nicknamed the Digi-Deep Ones, they worshipped a greater being called Dagomon, their "Dark Undersea Master" (explicitly referred to as a god in the Japanese version). Similar to their mating with humans, they attempted to capture Hikari Yagami in order for her to mate with Dagomon (Japanese version only) but failed due to the rescue by Takeru Takaishi, Patamon and Tailmon. This episode was written by Chiaki Konaka, who is himself a fan of Lovecraft's works. The "capture and mate with humans" thing was something the Deep Ones did in Shadow Over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft, and Dagon was essentially the supreme "Deep One."And looking up "Renamon Motivational" for motivational posters of her turned up a chest shot of Krystal in leopard skin tube top. I know it was Krystal because of the blue fur and bracket tatoos on her arm. That's one of the few times I've actually facepalmed in real life.I also happened to find this image of Renamon. "User"
Unfortunately, she is quite popular among furverts for being, "sexually appealing" for some reason, and much like Krystal, is used quite frequently in yiff.Krystal and Renamon are among the most popular copyrighted anthro characters for that sort of material. Heck, I'd dare say they are the top 2 or 3 most popular furry characters in the fandom today, Krystal mainly because of the fanart + furries effectBtw, why do people assume Renamon is a female. Isn't "she" technically neither gender as that's never been made canon? I've never been a big Renamon fan so I wouldn't know for sure.

Vy'drach
Thats the furverts for ya, though i didn't know about the "mate thing".That was an actual episode of Digimon that it happened it. It was a tribute to H.P. Lovecraft, one of the most popular writers in history, which one of the creators of Digimon was a fan of, the "mate with humans" thing was a major part of the plot in, "The Shadow Over Innsmouth." Originally, the people of the town of Innsmouth had to offer sacrifices to mate with the Deep Ones in exchange for them keeping fish near the town when every other town's fishing was horrible, leading to vast financial difficulty, along with the Deep Ones occasionally bringing strange relics made of rare materials for the town.Btw, why do people assume Renamon is a female. Isn't "she" technically neither gender as that's never been made canon? I've never been a big Renamon fan so I wouldn't know for sure. In the English episodes of the show, she told Rika's mom that they are genderless, but that was a translation error, in the original manga, the line was that Digimon do not have biology, as in the ability to reproduce, and not that they do not have genders.
