[Zero Flare]

Alright, brace yourself for a whole load of mediocre artwork. Some of it is Star Fox related, some of it isn't. I wasn't sure where exactly to post this but I thought that it'd fit in better in the Non-Star Fox Works section.

I mainly draw Krystal when it comes to Star Fox fan art, but I can also try other characters (whether it's a request by another member or I simply feel like drawing someone else ).

I'll split it into sections for easy browsing. I would also like to apologize for the poor image quality, as I currently lack a scanner. I use my DSi to take photos instead, so some may be fuzzy or have odd lighting.

NOTE: This topic is image heavy. I couldn't put my images into spoilers so I just posted the images. Please let me know if you (the admins or moderators) would like me to just post the links instead.

~METROID~

Some work I produced last summer. I still adore this one, since it looks pretty cute!

Another drawing completed last summer. This took a while to finish.

A tattoo design of Ridley. Well, it wasn't supposed to be Ridley, but it kind of looked like him in the end...

~STAR FOX~

Krystal drawn in coloured pencils.

Krystal in her Assault attire which was drawn during a power cut while I was studying. I'd read my notes for half an hour and then work on this for 15 minutes, then return to my notes. I only had a small light on my alarm clock to light up the page. xD

Basically drawn in the same way as the previous one. I enjoy drawing during studying because it easily gives my brain a break from my tedious courses.

A pen doodle drawn in Biology class when we had a substitute teacher for 2 hours. I was VERY bored.

More of a cute version of Krystal and Fox, this time drawn in pencil and more time spent on it.

Kursed. I sketched her out during math class with merely my pen. It was a tough task, since I usually make a lot of mistakes but this turned out pretty well. I have the full image uploaded, but I took the picture at a bad angle which resulted in the body looking slightly disproportionate. I'll take another shot sometime and let you all see the full sketch.

A cute little idea I came up with - Fox and Falco as kids playing with a remote-controlled Arwing and Landmaster.

Star Fox stuff. I didn't draw Slippy because I always mess him up. Poor Slippy.

Peppy and Krystal. I couldn't even remember what Peppy looks like... and Krystal's eyes are messed up.

Fox and Falco heads, hehe. Falco was the better one.

A pen sketch of an Arwing. I forgot how to draw the back of them... so I just kind of put anything in, haha.

Fox performing a spinning kick while airborne. I smudged the pen a lot on this one and tried to cover it up with some shading.

~MISC~

A tonal study of a wolf which I finished before the summer.

A tonal study of a dream catcher finished around the same time as the wolf above.

A karisma pencil study of a feather.

A dye and bleach combination of some scenery.

Quick sketches of some ideas for my final exam piece.

A wolf drawn in fine line pen. This only took me about an hour which is incredibly quick for me.

The quality for this one was pretty rough, sadly. This is my exam piece which I worked on for 6 hours straight under exam conditions. I messed up the sky a bit, but I still managed to achieve a high grade B. I also came up with the composition myself, which is a combination of my three focal points - wolves, dream catchers and native American scenery.

This was done in class over a couple of periods. I'll be working into it with different ideas over the course of the year, adding different variations and such. The paper was also dyed purple, hence the random area of purple at the right hand side. I'll crop the final image.

This is Eden, my character from the roleplay 'The End, the Beginning' on another forum.

An updated version of Eden where I was experimenting with eyes.

Another roleplay character, Lunaii. However, I've lost interest in that particular roleplay so she will probably not be used.

I'm pretty much a newbie to flipnoting, and I've only recently started posting some (with very little success). I suppose it doesn't hurt to post them here.

Kursed in the cockpit of her CloudRunner spacecraft looking out the window at a familiar ship. The music became horrendously screechy at the end and I couldn't be bothered trying to fix it.

For the most part they seem good to me, not great but good. The ones that bug me the most are the Krystal sketches, the first, in all honesty, it looks like Krystal has a tumor, also not such a big fan of colored pencils or coloring directly on paper (over computer coloring). Second one, the pose is rather awkward looking, the top half of her body is okay. Third, mostly good, but her eyes are too close together and her left thigh should be thicker.

I love the cartoon/manga style Star Fox pieces, also the wolf/nature sketches are nice too.

Also, I am interested, how do you do the "flipnote" sketches?

Why thank you, I'll be sure to look into those bugs that you pointed out. Most of these are pretty old, dating back to last year. I hope my more recent ones avoid those problems.

And the flipnote sketches are done using Flipnote Studio for the DSi. It's pretty fun but time consuming to use.

Stick with Krystal and Samus althoguh the Fox wasn't that bad  you do Krystal and Samus better ,heh.
