Dermot
This is one of my favorite animated films of all time. From Japan, suitable for all ages. High-quality production. The movie in its entirety is available on YouTube in English, dubbed by Australian sound engineers with the permission of the original studio (who abandoned all plans to bring it in more countries). As with any long video on YouTube, it is broken up into parts.Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQDe3DFv-DwPart 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTDzmEJahgsPart 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rco8QKUX0fYPart 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ-eSUiqBFkPart 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrCepjM65csPart 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BZCLngH6vIPart 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWseh22uD-APart 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnBnm8TKgq4Part 9: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKBX_bInXfYPart 10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rOATOp97VQPart 11: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cAu8-Qt3vAPart 12: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiqgdofH7VYEnd Credits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVEmn2DDvxs"Watch the Moonrise": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsCHDWGvNu0If you prefer the original Japanese audio with subtitles, try these. Video quality not as good though. The subtitles in particular can be a wee bit hard to read.Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7ZdjqWBiuwPart 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0GIxiViYpkPart 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH5gaQMpOcwPart 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qe5qAPeqseAPart 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjpFvxZnWx0Part 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r-PWIv1rjMPart 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7pwdO0ka_0Part 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkspaqBsAjMPart 9: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZhRHolcxNwPart 10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZlCh7XFwQMPart 11: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjh2GijGMEwAnd here are some particularly good AMVs. This is actually a very popular film for making YouTube AMVs. (All AMVs contain spoilers.)"Coffee Shop": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MulpQxbKttY"So Far Away": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etFHtwF06hY"Something About Us": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTk8-e_xzN8"Still": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZj5Z1UKrJEWarning: Contains a minute and a half of one of the most annoying self-promoting advertisement sequences ever made for YouTube, but the rest of the video is still really good."Stuck in the Middle": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORrZgNYe2lQ

Dermot
Two minutes in and I'm already like "oh shat, it's Bambi's mom all over again."Hah, maybe shades of it. It's common for prey animals in the wild. But the film is actually a lot more of a Fox and the Hound.

Dermot
The voice actors are terrible.Kinda. The production company wouldn't fund a proper dub. This was done by a team of Australian sound engineers. And they did audition for voice actors. But ultimately, one person ended up doing most of the voices. Through most of the movie, he's talking to himself. Besides the limited selection of voices, they certainly did do a masterful job with the audio. There might still be the Japanese subtitled version on YouTube. I'd have to look. Dermot
Alright, I found the subtitled parts and added them to the top of this thread. No more Woodie Allen impersonations. :P
