Guest DRL
Through the windless night we sail To watch the timeless dance unfold. Out of joy we share the tale To any who would have it told. Time, it seems, doesn't flow... For some it's fast, for others slow. In what to one race is no time at all Another race may rise and fall. The virus spread like burning fire... The sea of dread rose higher and higher. The crystal ones had to fight By causing suns to ignite. ...self defense. It is their right. Back when all the stars were young, Before the Minstrel songs were sung, When this galaxy was new There came from far the crystal few. Gradually they spread through space. They were the first...the only race. And harder still to recognize That which lies before one's eyes. So many races have believed In only what was preconceived. That which is ancient may be new... It all depends on point of view. From inward out the races flee Searching for a place to hide... Ever in a wave of war And on the crest the strongest ride. We are the watchers of the dance. Many wonder at us... But how could there not be an audience For the greatest of all comedies?____________________________If you have played StarFlight, you will understand that this doesmake sense in the game.I will later explain each verse. After all... I need every sentence... .No really, I am going to, but later.

Guest DRL
playing starflight I see?Finished I & II, althrough I liked StarFlight's Istory better... When I was younger I used to... *gulp*Fear the Spemmin ... *Hides*....The Mintrel's did add somethingto it. Basically every verse has a meaning...I will start: Through the windless night we sail To watch the timeless dance unfold. This is about the Minstrel's themselves, and their song. The 'Windless night' is thespace, and 'sail' means travel. The 'timeless dance unfold' reffers to theflow of time and the events that happen during it'scourse. Out of joy we share the tale To any who would have it toldThis (duh) means that they will sing their songif you are willing to stay and 'listen' to it.O-Kay, that was the first one. Quite easy, I think. Next ones, you needto play the game (or read the book) tounderstand them.

Guest DRL
I never played 2 is it good?Well, first of all there are few thingsto point out.*Minor, manual-level spoilers*:° Endirium has been banned, you now use a new fuel which can only be brought at certain worlds (well, anyone inhabited by a sentient race).° There is a trade system. Basically the Starport offers you the materials you need for repairs, nothing else.° The Spemmin, yes, those literall blue-fat-**ses got Ultra-Tech and are the new bosses around. You are in a relatively-undercover mission to find out how they got it, and how to defeat it.° You can travel between present and 200,000 years to the past.| You can no longer keep a Captain's Log (althrough I never used it).Well, I say that you give it a try. To meit did not have the 'epic' factor of SF I, butit was still quite cool.During the course of the game, you fighta group called Dweell Umanu or like that...You may be surprised, at the end, who theyare... Guest DRL
What does it play on?PC.It's graphics quite improve overthe original one, but it is still thesame complicated controls...You might get trouble if you got usedto the Genesis/Megadrive version....Now another verse! Time, it seems, doesn't flow... For some it's fast, for others slow./i]This refers to the one of the Ancients/Other races problem. The Ancients (or Cristal ones, if you prefer) had a differentsense of time; to them, many years went by as days, where otherraces felt it like we feel it now. In what to one race is no time at all Another race may rise and fall.[Indeed. While other races flew around in their ships, theAncients had barely time to react. According to the other races, the Ancients (who left their structures intact, ect.) had 'banished',where the truth is discovered in the next verse...
