Guest DRL
This is, well, my apology regardingthe last poll-boom about"What do you think about me?"kind of threads. It was a question that was bugging me,seriously, althrough I should have knewit would have stareted a poll-boom,in short, if I had not started it wouldhave been avoided...So please, to other SFO users,DO NOT POST A LIKE/DISLIKE POLL ABOUTYOURSELF UNLESS YOU HAVE BEENSOME TIME AROUND.Why? Simply because if you have beenaround a week or so (and I am consideringthat you are quite active), it is unlikelythat most people around have a clearattitude, or opinion, about you, thus nomatter what their answer is it can, and willchange as time goes on either for better orworse... My suggestion is that you get +2500posts first, be quite active, an THEN asksuch question... Please note that activity/time must be quitebalanced as well. People will not get to know youif you are very active during a week and then banishfor 3 months or so; nor will they if you post once ina month.I just made a poll like this since everyone else was doing it. Also, doing it 'because everyone else is doing it'does not means that people know you. While technically the question does not violateany of the rules, I asked it for a reason, notbecause I saw others doing the same question.(And to clarify I think that mine's was arelatively special case. I had managed to lock, during my time here, 3 topics, 2 of which werelocked in the past week, which led to the questionbugging me in the first place.) DZComposer
Things like this make me wonder if I should disable polls.Try not to be self-centered, and make sure your polls are for quantitative questions with few possible choices.
