I have a couple of favourite artists that are against the normal rules to post about, and often offend the prudish types.

First is a none anthro guy who does alot of Sci Fi painting type stuff. His machine designs and details are fantastic. His war themed work is often gorry though.

Next is Zix, who does a lot of bad arse scalies in power armour and the occational hillarious comic. Never posted because he also has a bondage fetish, so if you can't stant the idea of Unreal tourniment characters wrapped in web, don't go looking.

My last recomendation this post is Predaguy. A preditor fan and best dinosaur anthro artist I know. His work is fantastic and he's my number 1 if I ever need to commission artwork of Sabre. This guys stuff is pretty safe as far I'm concerned, but the admins here rapidly bring down the banhammer on bakinis and underwear.

Thanks for the heads-up Sabre. All of these have some truly magnificent work, and I will surely check them out closer when I have time to spare.

I'll come with an artist of my own. She doesn't paint anything related to neither anthro or Starfox. On the other hand, she's my cousin. Lived in England for many years, but have now moved back home, and works as an art teacher, along with selling paintings. She'll be my travel companion when I visit the states this summer as well.

Be warned though. Most, if not almost all, of her paintings include nudity.

In the 1990s, my favorite artist was Nick Boos from Trinidad & Tobago.  He's still a friend.

In the 2000s, my favorite artist was Nanaru Watan a.k.a. NULL from Japan.

Today, with FurAffinity, pixiv, deviantART and extremely well-indexed art collections, it's hard to say who my favorite artist is.  I like so many.

And sometimes it's not so simple of which artists I like, but which artwork I like - I don't always like all of an artist's artwork.  But I'll try to list some anyway.  Artists whose style I really like or whose art I like a significant chunk of.  This is not to say that this list is complete, or that I don't like other artists, but these artists stick out the most.  Let's see, I like:

An artist that I like the artistic style of (though not quite the use of his ability) is a man who goes by the name of Jeremy Bernal. He is, unfortunately, a yiff artist, which is a shame since he draws anthros so well. Thankfully however, all his characters are of his own design, or of his friend's it seems. I have yet to see an unoriginal character in his work. I mentioned to Kursed long ago that if he did a wholesome image of Krystal, it would likely put everyone else's to shame, but if he did yiff of her, I would probably be able to commit murder (highly unlikely in truth, just there for the sake of a dramatic addition). This is perhaps the one image of his I can post here, as everything else is either yiff, or in clothing by far too tight, leaving nothing to imagination.

Oh yeah, and he apparently has a thing for thigh-highs, which I have no problem with.

Now I don't want to appear as something that I am not, I am just getting the more "extreme" artists out of the way first, but the next one is also a "yiff" artist, but he draws far less than you'd expect (Most of his art may be suggestive, but not actually pornographic, in fact, one of his works was my myspace avatar for some time), and B, he does "scalies" rather than "furries." It's Fossil, the Undead Anthrosaur. I found his images (clean ones) just surfing the web many years ago.

What made this artist stand out for me was that: 1, he made bald looking characters look attractive (most of the time, they will have spikes or such that resembles a hairstyle), 2, that his characters had actual biographies and personalities that he created, which I would share, but certain things about them might be pushing even these rules a bit.

Now don't worry, my interests are definitely not just yiff artists (I believe that is FoXXX's and perhaps Julius's domain), I just wanted to get them out of the way.

The next few go back to my days playing World of Warcraft, with there being very many good fanartists for Blizzard games (I suggest just browsing all the fanart), but some that stood out are these.

Tauren were always my favourite race in WoW, and I really wished they looked like that (I actually leveled a female Tauren druid with those facial marks because of that image).

Well, nothing really, just that some people may find the large breasts to be a bit.... exciting, and the others, well, mostly just because I was going through the fanarts, though number 306 of Bludlemon's does have the Blood Elf with some pronounced nipples. And 270 is a bit bloody.

And the artists do have websites, but they are porn sites, mostly. Though I sent a message to Fossil, about how I liked his artistic talent, and he told me that he never really imagined doing something like this, but it's a pretty reliable way to put bread on the table. Interestingly enough, his girlfriend is also into anthro's, and completely fine with what he does, last I heard (A lot of the pics on his site are actually them at different furry cons).

Here's one of the artists I forgot to mention earlier, Charlie Zero, AKA "Mookie." He does a very very long webcomic that's updated nearly daily.

It is a very violent comic at times, what with people being dismembered, disemboweled, beheaded, y'know, the usual. But the characters are awesome, such as Jacob, who is the perfect mix of douchebag big brother, and evil necromancer (Also, the werewolves kick ass in this comic).

Sorry for the double post, but forgot another artist I like. Stan Winston, who has made a LOT of the Hollywood movie monsters.

That's scanned from a book I have titled, "Behind the Mask: The Secrets of Holllywood's Monster Makers" which shows how Hollywood special effects monsters are made, as well as the concept art for a lot of em.
