Sabre
Odd, I've never heard of any of these people. Usually someone says "Tommy Cooper!" and any claims he's not funny or overrated starts a flame war.For me, Paul Merton and Lee Evens. Jasper Carrot was also good back in the day. Markus Brigstoke is also good, but best is a toss up between the sureal paul merton, and the hillarious observastions of Lee Evens who I am reminded of almost daily. Fira-Astrali
(Woot! First post after my self imposed exile!)Favourite comedians... I sadly don't remember most of their names ^^; But I find European comedians usually to be hilarious. For example, the video "History of the world in 5 minutes" by the Norwegian group Raske Menn laughed me off my chair Then there's Danny Bouy, an irish guy who's name i dont remember, and a Brit in the same boat XD On this side of the atlantic, I'd say Tim Nut, George Carlin (that man is a GENIUS!!!) and Mitch Hedburg.I find that any comedian who doesn't talk about a) how much of a B*tch his wife is, or b) how horrible colonoscapies are, are usually very creative and funny. But for some reason, those two topics come up ALOT >.>
