But anyway, the moral of this one is that you need a friend to get through life, and that they can help you get through even the hardest times. This one's for you, Gamecuber. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life's Endless Road - XG Fox Walking alone this street at night, I heard some noises that gave me a fright. I turned to look but there was no one to be found, As a matter of fact, there was nothing around. I kept walking along, then I ran across this sign, Reality check, fifty miles 'til mine. In the distance there is nothing but life, Why does mine seem to be overflowing with strife? I continued along, then caught up to you, Whom I asked what a friend was, and you told me too. A friend is a person who you can count on in a fight, And one that you know who holds no spite. But then when lifes endless road leads us uphill, We struggle to climb and not fall, you know the drill. But then when the road levels out and everythings a breeze, We have to be ready for the unexpected to bring us to our knees. I turn to run, but Im getting nowhere fast, Theres those times I feel as though I always finish last. This isnt the case, as when we push each other to be our best, And when we can do that, were far better than the rest. A friends support can catch you when you fall, And help you recover when you run into a wall. Theyre always there to lend you a hand, Friends are people who really understand. Frights are fantasies with friends by your side, Though theyre hard to forget, no matter how hard youve tried. But a friend can help you relinquish those fears, And theyll always be there to dry all your tears. Sooner or later well reach our lifes end, But until then youll always be my friend.
