SuperGamecube64
I'm sure there has been a similar topic at one time or another, but I could not find it. So, which game was your first? I'm sure there are some oddballs out there whose first game was the star Fox 2 ROM, or that don't play the series, but still like it. The poll only allows for 5 options, so the like 2 of you that would pick either of those can just post.I actually started with Adventures. The same year I got my Gamecube, which was supposed to be a Christmas gift(We'll go into how I got it early another time), I got Adventures that Christmas, and fell in love with the series. Funny thing is that I already knew I was getting it even though I didn't ask. The tape holding part of the wrapping shut became undone, and I went ninja. I slid the game out far enough to read the title, push it back into the paper and re-taped it...now I'm getting nostalgic, and making myself feel old...I do that a lot... The Shaper
Honestly..... I played assault at a friends house. Now I hadn't heard much of star fox past Super smash brothers for the N64 but that game sucked me into the series so I ended up going back to the first one then continuing along. Samantha Weltzin
64. Played it at a friend's house. It was pretty fun, but I didn't actually own it until the Virtual Console version came out. The first one I -owned- was the SNES one, which I played the crap out of.

DoctorAllosaurus
I'm one of the few who started with the first game. I was around 5 or 6 when it came out, I think I got to the third stage on the easy route before I got my first game over.
Mellow Walrus
Starfox 64, one of the first games I've ever played. I know the first one was Super Mario 64, and the second was either Starfox or Donkey Kong 64.....My standards started off way too high >.<
Andross
SF Adventures... LoneWolf
STARFOX COMMAND ALL THE WAY!Actually, I LOVED Command, even it's story, but after looking back on it after playing SF64, SF, and SF2, I like the story less. The gameplay is fantastic though, and what more can you expect out of a handheld? Console gaming FTW (PC first, actually, but you get the idea)

Solar Plexus
Lylat Wars, it was. I actually bought it not too long ago as a birthday present to my younger sibling after his almost fetishish way of only using Starfox characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It was quite the mental pleasure, so I continued buying them as birthday and Christmas gifts to this very date. I was the one who had to play them for him (he was 'round 6-7 at the time), so more cozinesses for me to play. The only disadvantage of it is that they're all technically his which he may take advantage of in the nigh future. As the Zelda geek I really am, I do naturally prefer Adventures, along its awesome soundtracks (emphasis on the implied Ocean Force Point Temple); whoever it was who composed them deserves something neat and zingy. Although that's really off-topic in this thread; it merely acts a subtle introductiony thing.
LoneWolf
Lol, are you serious?? HECK YES. The gameplay I still love, just not the story. I still play it from time to time.

Star Fox Runner
My first Star Fox game was, of course, Star Fox 64. That game was pretty much my life when I was a little kid.
