Nostalgic commercials

Commercials, we have seen them many, many times on television, the internet and other places. Commercials nowadays just don't seem to be recgonizable as they were back in the 1980's and 1990's (Maybe in the early 2000's also.).

I think there was a topic here before but I don't seem to see it anymore so I decided to bring it back!

In this topic, you'd post a commercial of a game, movie, whatever here that you think is nostalgic that many people will remember it from their childhood. (Please keep it clean, I know there are commercials that have funny names but they can be very offsenive here.)

I'll start off:

I thought this was about the nostalgia critic vid.

"Mom! Get off wet banana! ...what would dad say?"

One advert I reference alot but can never find on internet is the fuse army advert.

For those who don't remember, fuse was a UK chocolate bar in a purple wrapper. The advert had an inept army unit dressed in purple. I reference it alot with dumb army guys in fiction (these guys couldn't even make it into the fuse army) or when some improbable camo patturn or colour pops up.

The thing about that is, though, that it's not really nostalgic to us (unless someone is from Japan and I didn't know! )

Most people only found out about it from like YouTube in this day and age.

Know what I'm saying?

Yeah well it was the first thing that came to mind when Sabre said Zelda dance.

Oh no, I'm pretty sure that that is exactly what he wanted.

But, it's just, that's not nostalgia; really.

That's "Check this lol-worthy commercial from Japan out! I discovered it on YouTube!"

Know what I'm sayin'?

Oh, and don't worry. We cool! :friends:

I get what you are saying, but that could be said about almost all of these adverts. For example, zelda rap is not nostalgic for most. Was only shown in a few places in the US I think. The ones we "really remember" as a global site, most of you wouldn't recognize what I post outside of memes.

Take the flake advert for example. If I posted this spoof made at the time

5-30

I bet none of you would get it. As a result, most of the British ones would seem pretty dry or dull. For example the famous bond-esc milk tray man.
