Orbital Fox
I prefer MSN, but that's just me.
Kal
MSN has terrible smilies. I have to use ASCII smilies.
TheChosenKokiri
MSN. I hate smilies period.

Kal
I don't use smilies, but I know people who do. They're hideous to look at. Plus, AIM keeps a record of your convo, even after you close the window. I like it.
TheChosenKokiri
So does MSN.
Kal
Hm, mine doesn't do that... Oh well, I'm not changing my vote even if I could. Personal preference.
Mr. Krystal
iChat is the best. 10 way audio chats. 4 way video chats. Compatible with AIM, .Mac, and Jabber protocalls. With third party software (free), it's now compatable with Gtalk, MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ.
Inuyasha
TerraIM. Compatible with AIM and most everything, I think. Only it's 1/20th the size of AIM. Mostly functional, though, nothing too fancy. -Inuyasha
TakeWalker
The only thing I use anymore is AIM, though I can't even use that because my GAIM is being not-working. <.< Well, I guess I have YIM as well. I'm just never on it. I never knew many people who used MSN when I had it, and I absolutely despised ICQ. IRC is better than IMming anyway. Sol-Ratcht Saporro
MSN. It's the only one that doesn't give me any complications when it comes to signing on.
Guest PhazonFox
I wouldn't trust Microsoft or AOL any farther than I could throw them. I've used YIM for a few years now, and am pretty comfortable with it. Yahoo is starting to change for the worse now... But I'm not giving up on it yet. Still, in case it changes too much, I'm considering giving Google Talk a try. I've heard good things about it.
Mr. Krystal
Has anyone tried meebo? http://meebo.com
Inuyasha
Hm... I'll stick to Terra. It's pretty much the same, except a bit more polished, plus is an actual .exe. -Inuyasha

EvolutionSFox
^ Same. MSN all over because almost everyone has it.
Guest CoachLombardi
The only two I really use are AIM and YIM, and I'd go with YIM, simply because it doesn't flash endlessly when somebody IMs me. I only wish there was a way to turn off the flash alerts altogether. *sigh*
Guest Nicky Tonik
I use a combination of primarily MSN and AIM. MSN for Starwing HQ contacts (including my silly boyfriend, who only uses MSN now), and AIM for older contacts. And then random friends from Gaia and gods know where else split up between the two. Guest Krysader
I say YIM for the Stealth Settings.
SabreMc
I would have to say MSN, because I have 5 messengers (2 I never use, ICQ and YIM, as it hates the SFA windows theme for unknown reasons) and it is one of the only 2 IM systems on which I have any contacts (The other being Skype).
