Hello there! Furygun81 here with a poser. What is your favourite video game console, that is not a handheld. I'm going to list most of them now so hopefully I don't leave any out. I'm not going to post each individual Pong console btw. Yes i know I've missed some major ones (Atari 5600 and the Commodore) but I don't have enough room! Please vote.

I almost never use my consoles anymore. I get my dose of gaming from the PC. But whenever I am not using that, I am on my original Xbox.

As PC is now on the list, that gets my vote as it has virtually all the games of an Xbox and a PS3 and I own two.

Can't believe I missed out PC! There, it's added in. You can vote for it now.

Phillips CD-i should be replaced for the Panasonic 3DO in my opinion, XD. In all honesty I can't choose; I really love my consoles to death, though based on memories held with a certain console, the PS2 fits that bill nicely; my father and I would always head over to the local BestBuy and buy games that looked interesting to try out; it was good fun and several of my favorite games originated from that practice. (Two I distinctly remember are Sly Cooper and NFS Underground though :D)

So I should replace the CD-i (rubbish console) with the 3DO (umad?)

SNES gets my vote. I loved playing Crono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, Donkey Kong Country 1-3 and Mario RPG.

I was going to vote Atari 2600 or NES... But Super Castlevania took the cake. Super Castlevania = A feast for my ears. <3

I would have to say SNES since well i grew up with it and, they had some really fun games on them that were actually Challanging instead of todays "Oh look i have pretty graphics" games FFXIII is a perfect example >>.

Nintendo 64.

Goldeneye 007, Star Fox 64, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion, Turok: Rage Wars, Body Harvest, DOOM 64, Duke Nukem 64, Aerofighters Assault, Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Super Smash Bros. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. All of these I love, and still play.

It's hard to choose... SNES has legendary games, N64 had amazing whole-day-playable multiplayer games and the NGC took it to the next level of graphics...

Though my favorite game company is Nintendo, I am going to have to say the Playstation 2. I played the majority of the games I love on that system. It lasted me a decade, and I still buy and play games for it. Its just an awesome system with awesome game play.

I honestly can't decide between N64 and GameCube. Both consoles have my favorite games of all time on there.

On N64 there was: Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, and Star Wars Battle for Naboo, and GoldenEye.

On GameCube there was: Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Assault, Star Wars Rogue Leader, Star Wars Rebel Strike, Wind Waker, Super Smash Bros Melee, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Mario Sunshine.

As for my vote, GameCube is looking lonely up there so I pick that one. ;)

Meh the SNES was fun, and I spent my early years on the N64, but I don't play my N64 anymore. I do still play my Playstation2. IT wins. :P

Tie between NES and SNES. And even consoles under those are VERY close.
