Well, shit. I liked that guy. He was cool.

I will mourn you, Jobs, by not using my Apple products the next few days.

I was shocked when I heard about this. I heard he had cancer, I just though the had overcome it. But this........sigh......tragic.

I never did like Apple, or Macs, but that definitely doesn't mean I didn't have respect for 'Jobs. RIP; a true visionary for sure!

Seeing how it was Jobs we were talking about, I was half surprised he didn't cure it himself before it got him :P

RIP SJ.

This was shocking, he was only 56. When he stepped down as chairman of Apple in August I knew he didn't have much time left, but I didn't think he would die this soon!

Rest in peace Steve Jobs, you truly were a man that changed the world.

Yeah, such a shame to go at 56 due to health issues like that. Well needless to say his impact on the world of technology has been immense and he'll always be an icon of Apple.

I really can't stand apple (I'm a strict PC guy), but I have a lot of respect for Steve. He did great work in his time and the world is definitely less for his passing.

I remember seeing that written down on the news board in my berthing. I thought it was a joke :/

Anyway, I wonder who the next important person is to go? Miyazaki? Gates? Miyamoto? Sheesh.

High priest technologists selected by the global elite. Alex Jones (Radio host / alternative media man) input on Steve Jobs:

I have mixes on Steve Jobs myself. Sure he has been successful in the career of Apple but somethings funny and odd about him before his death.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs, your brilliant minds and ideas, had inspired those who still make technology advance today. I wonder what Apple Inc. is going to be in the future.

RIP Apple Stocks... :(

Just because Steve is gone doesn't mean Apple's stocks are going to drop......Will it?

Seeing as he already resigned and passed control of Apple to another company I don't think his death will affect the shareholders.

This could nonetheless be the start of the beginning of a decline for Apple. Jobs was a driving force behind their stock getting 900%. With him and his innovation gone Apple is going to be hard pressed to keep to the same standards.

Personally, I have mixed feelings about that guy and how towards the end he led Apple turning into what Microsoft was when they became really large, wanting to take over all the smaller companies and pissing off people in the process - especially with lawsuits. This isn't the same Apple most of us knew back when they first came out with the iPod. Comparisons of Jobs to people like Thomas Edison or Henry Ford are also completely overblown - the guy was a genius (like Bill Gates)but not on the same level as those two that went down in history.

Of course, this is all my opinion.

Thank Steven because if weren't for you, then we would still have to use a desktop computer for listen to music.
