Use this thread to post what you've acquired for Christmas. I'll be adding to this personally a little later in the day.

170 dollars, with another 300 on the way.

Yeah, my family know that they're better off just letting me buy my own gifts. I'm terrible at deciding what I want ahead of time.

Some clothes, puzzles, the new Florence + the Machine CD, and a 500GB external hard drive. A new pink PS3 controller, too. I am incredibly pleased.

ETA: That's just from my parents, I haven't seen my brother and his family or my two grandmothers yet. Will edit with relevant details later.

$225 (with more coming in just 2 days), Dungeons of Dreadmor, a dinosaur bone and a new set of headphones.

I don't do the whole gift thing. I, like Xort, like to buy my own gifts. Other stuff like the dinosaur bone are some decorations that I like and the headphones (And a calendar) are stuff that I need.

Not counting recent Steam sale games:

$100 of iTunes gift cards (for both seasons of Friendship is Magic)

The rather new PS3 surround sound wireless headset

Gerber Bear Grylls survivor knife

diamond knife sharpening stone

$88 USD

and something else that was misplaced and thus did not make it to me yet.

Also, for those with PS3's that are not on my friends list currently...

Nice, I was just looking at one of those the other day.

Do you like it?

Has a good feel to it, comes with a desperation sharpening stone built into the sheath (this is for survival sharpening and not fine sharpening), a ferrocerium firestarter rod, with a notch on the back of the knife intended to use the rod with, and other interesting features.

Only thing I really don't like about it is the blade is stainless steel. For quality blades, you want high carbon steel. Though stainless can work in a pinch.
