    The next Star Fox game

With E3 having gone by and no mention of Star Fox: Grand Prix what does everyone think the next game will be like? Will there even be a next game? We all know about the Arwing in Starlink, but aside from that, was Grand Prix just a rumor? And what will become of the franchise as a whole?
  2. Star Fox 64 is now available on the Nintendo eShop as a Wii U Virtual Console title! Nintendo of Europe released the game on March 24, 2016 for a promotional price of only €4.99 / £4.49 until April 21, 2016, one day before the expected release of Star Fox Zero; the price will afterwards revert to the standard Nintendo 64 Virtual Console game price of €9.99 / £8.99, so you better hurry and take advantage of this offer! Nintendo of America have made no announcements at the time this thread was posted. NOTICE: For the first time ever, Europeans can play the U.S. version of Star Fox 64 at its glorious full 60 Hz! Additionally, if you previously purchased Lylat Wars from the Wii Shop Channel on or transferred to the same Wii U console, you can get the Nintendo eShop re-release at only a fraction of the price as any other Nintendo 64 title, despite it being the U.S. version with the proper "Star Fox 64" moniker.
  3. Im kinda surprised that there's few topics on Zero being made. I mean Zero's been out for a while & its the same old people with few topics on Zero, let alone interesting ones. It looks like a clear sign that the game barley had any sufficient content to talk about. Anyways, according to a video game analyst, Zero was not profitable at all & hasn't sold 500,000 worldwide. https://mynintendonews.com/2016/06/02/zhugeex-says-that-star-fox-zero-was-not-profitable-at-all/ I doubt it'll be the last Star Fox game but I do hope Nintendo learns their lesson; Dont force the player to change views with motion controls & having empty/dull all-range levels with a horrible rewarding system doesn't work in 2016 especially if it's going at $60.
  4. Not particularly exciting news for an English-language forum, and not to mention we already had it for months, but I just wanted to inform you that starting from September 29, 2016, Japan finally got the Nintendo DS title Star Fox Command available on the Nintendo eShop as a Wii U Virtual Console title. I guess I just needed an excuse to post this following new Japanese trailer. Check it out:
  5. Check this out! http://www.vgchartz.com/#graph_menu This is surprising, considering that (based on my continued observation) at the beginning of the year, the Wii U only stood at 9 million, and gently climbed to 10 million by the summer, but jumped by early December to 11.4 million, and then another 1 million by December 26, for a comparatively amazing 3.5 million units sold this year. What do you guys think of this amazing jump in sales? Will it last through this year? Will the Wii U finally change from a failed console to a competitive one? P.S. Also, side note, that's 12.4 million, only around 500,000 units below the almost-abandoned PS Vita. Do you think by this year, the Wii U might finally overtake it?

Best hard drive for Wii U?

So like many Wii U owners before me, I have run out of space on the puny 32gb internal drive. A such, I need an external one. After some searching of Australian stores, I have narrowed my search to these two options at the moment. 1. HGST Touro Mobile 500GB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive: $65AUD + extra cost to get a y cable or it http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28870&cPath=173 2. Seagate Expansion 500GB Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0: $69AUD + nothing as it connects to the power point http://www.dicksmith.com.au/portable-hard-drives/seagate-expansion-500gb-portable-hard-drive-usb-3-0-dsau-xm1401 What do you guys think? Are their any advantages to getting one over the other other than the Touro is easier to move around? Currently I am leaning towards the Seagate, but the Touro would be a few bucks cheaper.

Review of Star Fox Wii U?

Hey. Out of curiosity, is anyone planning to review the upcoming Star Fox Wii U game once it comes out?
  8. News site Nintendo Life revealed today that in early 2011 Nintendo of Europe approached Burnout series developer Criterion Games to work on a pitch for a new F-Zero game which they hoped to unveil at E3 that same year alongside the then-unreleased Wii U console, and potentially release the game during the console's launch period. However, the developer was unable to handle the pitch as, at the time, they devoted much of their resources into the development of 2012's Need for Speed: Most Wanted for multiple platforms. The site was tipped by an anonymous, yet "reliable" source, but they had confirmed this information when Criterion co-founder Alex Ward (who left the company in 2014) admitted that Nintendo of Europe did indeed approach the company for a potential F-Zero game on the Wii U. > Source

I need Krystal in my life

They can't do away with Krystal. They can't. She's a member of the Star Fox team!! She's Fox's love interest!! Sigh. I have faith in you, Shigeru Miyamoto. Don't let me down. Do you all feel the same, or no?
  10. Simple question. What voice actors do you want for Star Fox Wii U? Now while we don’t exactly know what characters will be in the game, I think it’s a safe bet the core Star Fox team will be there, and perhaps Star Wolf as well. Going off of that who do you want doing the voices of Fox, Falco, Wolf, etc. They can be old returning actors or completely new people if you chose.

    Wii U Star Fox Idea

I had an idea that a Wii U Star Fox game could have a 2-5 player co-op mode, as well as standard single player. The first 4 players could control different members of the Star Fox team, so Player 1 is Fox, Player 2 is Falco, and so on. They could be controlled by a Wiimote, Gamepad or Pro Controller, and have Gyro or classic controls. Then the 5th player could use a Gamepad and could be the Great Fox in a way. They can send items down to the other 4 players to help them, and they could have a map of the area displayed on the screen, so they can find secret routes and other hidden secrets. It could also be done that the multiple players have to work together to unlock some secrets and get into some areas. This co-op feature could also be used in online multiplayer, where 4 players control the Star Fox team, and a 5th helps them out with items in the middle of the battles. The same would go for the other team. Well, that was my idea. What do you guys think of it?
