Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Hmmmm....it's a three way tie but, I'm gonna have to go with Rap/Hip-hop. Loved it since I was little, but I don't know what the hell happened to it now-a-days. The others are, Game/Techno and Rock/Alternative.

Lilacs
I like nothing but Techno Under my opinion Rock is to loud and Classical is some times to quiet, and I hate rap as much as I hate the Devil.
Kal
...Point? Here's mine: While it's true you hear a lot of techno-ized versions of game music (especially Tetris), you hear the same for classical music (Phantom of the Opera, Mountain King, and I'm sure there's Beethoven somewhere if I wasn't too lazy to look). On the other hand, you cannot tell me that Final Fantasy, Guilty Gear, or even Mario is techno. Game music is so much more. Hence, =/= techno. TakeWalker
I think it's more "game music is not a subset of techno". Since "techno" itself is generally a very overarching label (though some would prefer the term "electronica", saving "techno" for a certain genre under that heading). Because game music can be techno-y, but it can also be other stuff as well. It can thus either be considered its own genre or, more properly, a heading based on use rather than style, which contains representative styles from numerous genres. Zicka
Dude, plenty of games hav orchestrated scores. Not all are techno.
Kal
Game music's even more overarching than techno. In fact, most game music isn't even techno, especially modern-day games. Almost all FF is orchestrated, as is Zelda. Mario is jazz/Latin pop. Guilty Gear is metal. Techno? Best example I can think of is Sonic, and even then most of it's techno due to sound quality (except Ice Cap. No denying that).
