Kal
That's kinda close, but the Interceptor kicks the X-wing's arse in terms of speed. The only Rebel ship to match it is the A-Wing. The X-Wing would be comparable in speed to the standard TIE fighter. If I had to guess, I'd say it would be a good match for the Arwing. The Falcon would be a little tricky to say, since I can't remember how fast it goes in comparison to the other ships. I can say, though, that the twin quad-laser turrets covering all angles of attack have the potential to rip an Arwing to shreds. Unless it gets hit with a Nova bomb, then...y'know. The Y-wing...no contest. Besides, only a complete idiot uses a Y-wing for dogfighting. They're only useful for their armor (the B-wing's catching up in this aspect) and bombing runs (at which it excels). Of course, as Dark Fox said, the Empire only needs a shot from the Sun Crusher to wipe out Lylat, thus negating that problem.

What is disturbing, is the y-wing was the dogfighter before the x-wing came along..... but if Fox stole the sun Crusher........ Fox: "Whats This button do????? " DF: "What, wait......hey, NO, DON'T TOUCH THAT!!!!!! " *Torp destroys lylat* Fox: DF: OMG, no look what you did!!! Fox: Imperial General: "Nice Shot!" Blaz3
Starfox owns all. Precisely my thoughts Games: StarFox. There's not mcuh competition between the two here. Movies: Star Wars: Again, not much competition. Just try and imagine a Starfox movie. I don't think it would work very well.... -Inuyasha I think a Star Fox movie would work very well! The characters are perfect because they all have their own personalities. Star Wars games really have no soul in them. There is usually no storyline. I mean sure, they follow the movie, but the characters never have any emotion. Star Fox is a lot more emotional in-game.

Very true, as far as the games that coindice with the movies, like battlefront. but for games like KOTOR, the development team did a far better job, as far as storyline goes. KOTOR/ KOTOR 2 are more compicated thaen thier rough starfox eqivalent, Starfox Adventures. inow if tey made a starfox game where the things you said to your team could totally change the story around, now THAT would be awsome...... Yeah...[/quote'] oh so true. what if you gave darth Maul's lightsaber to Krystal....... Kal
Then she'd probably cut them off later. Besides, who needs a lightsaber when no one else in the galaxy has one, and you're too busy beating the poop out of everybody with a shiny stick? Y'know, I've always wondered what would happen if Luke was holding the lightsaber wrong when he first turns it on..."This is your father's lightsaber-"BZZZTACK!"...Well, crap." Dark Fox
Just say that to any normal message board. Im sure starwars would win. agreed, Starfox has a VERY DEVOTED fanbase, but so dose starwars, and it is much bigger. that dosn't really count, because SW had perfect timing when it was released, and has been around for almost 3 generations now, after that long, your fanbase is bound to be impressive
