hirobo2
My thoughts on the Walker --- it's just a mechanical Yoshi with winglets. I betcha if you use a Yoshi amiibo, you could skin the Arwing/Walker green, and using Mario amiibo would give Fox a red and blue outfit. Btw, I'm sooo looking forward to the transformable Arwing amiibo. It's the only Arwing model I've ever felt like "owning" next to the cut-out Paper SNES Arwing model from Nintendo Power...EDIT: Apparently I cannot see the reply textbox field in my browser, so I'll leave the reply here. I've heard amiibos will work with SFZ, just not in ways crucial to the gameplay, such as giving you a new skin for some of the models/characters. Drasiana
As has been pointed out, nowhere in that article does it say there will be "no Amiibo integration". If y'all would actually read it, it very clearly, no-room-for-miscommunication, says that there WILL be Amiibos, and that they will be purely cosmetic.OP your Yoshi idea is cute, that would be fun. hirobo2
I can't wait to get my hands on the Arwing amiibo, b/c I've always wanted an explanation to this design flaw: (You notice that when the nose of the Arwing swings back to the rear end to transform into the Walker, the fuselage is supposed to be inverted with the air inlet on the top side...)So then, why is the air inlet still on the bottom side (right-side-up) after it's swung to the rear end to form the chicken's butt in this in-game model? Unless there is a perfectly good explanation for this and not "ah-well the Walker looks kind of weird with the air inlet upside-side like it's supposed to be, we'll just flip it and nobody will notice the inconsistency" I will simply not buy into the SFZ phenomeon! The only explanation I can think of is after the nose swings to the rear end, it sort of rotates along its longitudinal axis so the nose remains right-side-up. But that seems like a rather wasteful and pointless transformation, which the Japanese are notoriously NOT famous for... The VGM Lover
Actually, it could be for balance purpose. Thinking about it, it reminds me of a raptor's tail, which can be used as a rudder to help the raptor turn while it's running...
