Sabre
FA has seen fit to ban all spore creatures from it's site. Claiming they are screenshots and not user created content. Given that the file sizes are less then a normal JPEG, and that only the creature creator is out atm, it seems like an odd move given all the Second Life screens they have. CloudRunnerLX
Well that's stupid. I think something like that requires artistic direction just as much as designing a character from scratch. Maybe they just hate it because the characters are ugly XD
WolfBoy100
Um, what the heck is spore? I'm sorry, I'm NOT VERY clear with it. :|
Dr. Wilopolis
^ Spore is a game where you can basically play God and create a planet of some sort with creatures of your own design. Eh, on topic... Why should it matter if Spore is banned? I personally don't see why it should matter if FA banned it. =P Technically, Second Life should be banned, but people won't stop submitting pics from THAT, even if /they/ didn't make the stuff shown in the pic. Sabre
Spore also has save files as thumbnail images, meaning if I were to post a pic of my character here, you could load it into your game. The issue with it being banned is like you said, there are games like second life and poser where people don't technically make there own stuff, but they are allowed to submit. Spore is more creative then both of those and you are not allowed to upload them. It's a huge double standard.
