Zwolf
I can deal with the fact that it's Technology powered by Magic. Are we happy now? Technology in this case, is machinery, (Yeah, the Staff isn't really considered a "machine" but whatever). Machinery has to be powered by something. According to Nintendo, it has Magical Energy. Tech powered by Magic. Done.
Guest Julius Quasar
The fact of the matter is THAT THINGS CAN SEEM LIKE MAGIC. And according to your previous post: You seemed to be implying that because the stuff that the staff does SEEMS like magic, therefore the staff must BE MAGIC. I gave you examples of how things can appear like magic but they really are not to prove a point, NOT TO SAY THAT THOSE THINGS FIT IN WITH THE STARFOX SERIES. SF Adventures never fit the series in general
Falcory
I can deal with the fact that it's Technology powered by Magic. Are we happy now? ......That's not what I meant. Forget it. I guess you just LOVE magic....
Zwolf
ARRRRRRRRRRRGH! ......That's not what I meant. Forget it. I guess you just LOVE magic.... DROP IT! *flares teeth* :3 As owner of the thread, I deem this debate too ambiguous too continue. New topics are welcome.
Guest Julius Quasar
I say a hybrid of magic AND technology, eh? New Topic: Uh...(hang on) I wish I could see/fight the Star Wolves in their "Wolfen 2" fighters more often

Zwolf
A G-Diffuser is an engine. A Gravity-Diffuser. And besides, they don't need artificial gravity. They have seat-beats. Next?

Zwolf
That's a whole lot of a science that I can't follow, and that doesn't prove anything. That's getting into "realism" arguments. We could go back and argue the realistics of the Staff, and how it is capable of what it is.

Falcory
I still think James McCloud is alive, in some way... Please not that anymore either. I express my opinion on that and suddenly it officially becomes "Gang up on Falcory" day and I get shunned for my logic. :P
Kursed
Shall i pass out the pitchforks and torches? I don't think the g-diffuser is the engine why would a engine for a All terrain fighter need to adjust it's engine when entering a atmosphere? Zwolf
Keep this in mind, this isn't philosophy, which means don't just post what you THINK. Bring some actual facts or examples with your claim. I'm not putting Julius on the spot light here, this goes for everyone. I don't think the g-diffuser is the engine why would a engine for a All terrain fighter need to adjust it's engine when entering a atmosphere? Fox says "Adjust G-Diffuser system OUTPUT". Obviously, there's isn't any gravity in Space. On Fortuna, they have gravity, so the G-Diffuser needs to be adjusted, due to the change in gravity levels. Guest Julius Quasar
true...I always found it funny in SF64, Sector Y, when at the boss battle, the Arwings expand their wings, despite the fact they're in space, haha!
Kursed
still he could be adjusting the output to compensate for the gravity thus the artifical gravity in the cockpit wouldn't be unbearable.
Zwolf
All-Range mode. They expand their wings to make easier turns. When you're "on-rails" you aren't turning. still he could be adjusting the output to compensate for the gravity That's exactly what I just said. thus the artifical gravity in the cockpit wouldn't be unbearable. There's no proof that there IS artificial gravity in the first place. The reason for the adjust of the G-Diffuser system is for the change in gravity levels OUTSIDE the ship. The G-Diffuser is an engine. It doesn't mention anything about internal cockpit gravity.

Zwolf
Are you kidding me right now? Have you ever SEEN Astronauts in zero-gravity? If they don't actively control the muscles in their arms, that doesn't make them flap around randomly...

Zwolf
This is pointless. You aren't listening to anyone at all. if there is no gravity in the cokpits how come their arms aren't floating around when they relax? Show me a clip from Assault or any other game where anyone truly RELAXES. That means, they aren't holding anything, or actively moving their arms. IF you do that, THEN you can continue this pointless discussion.
