SlyJedi Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 The only franchise that I can see as compatible in crossing over with is the Sly Cooper series. I see this for a number of reasons: 1.) They are both worlds populated with anthro-animals.2.) The characters of Fox McCloud and Sly Cooper have some similarities: Both take after their fathers. They both have new version of the group their fathers started (Team StarFox and the Cooper Gang) with new members.3.) The games themselves had a similar pattern in how their first 2 games (StarFox 64 and Starfox Adventures | & | Sly Cooper And The Thevious Raccoonus and Sly 2: Band Of Thieves (sort of)) had the team trying to beat the same main boss (Andross for SF & Clockwerk for SC) while the third (StarFox Assault & Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves) had entirely new final boss (The Aparoid Queen & Dr. M). Plus, in the 3rd games the teams are aided by old enemies turned allies (StarWolf for SF & Dimitri and Panda King for SC).(NOTE: I did not mention Command because it does not exist in Starfox's storyline to me.)4.) This might be interesting (albeit technical) to mention: The two series shared 3 voice actors. Rick May who was Dr M. in Sly 3 was Andross, Wolf, Leon, and General Pepper in StarFox 64. David Scully who was both Panther and Leon in StarFox Assault was Sir Raleigh, Dimitri, Rajan, Don Octavio, and Captain LeFwee in the 3 Sly games. And last but not least Alesia Glidewell who was Krystal in StarFox Assault was Carmelita Fox in Sly 2.There are probably some more I could mention, but I don’t want to take up too much space on this post. And, this really just made me say wow, he's a member of Star Wolf, wanted space pirates with considerable bounties on their heads I'm sure, and he has a favorite cafe, or CORNERIA of all places, that made me say, "Wow, really...just...really Panther?" Guest DRL Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 1_ Star Fox and mod of Red Alert 2 (<---An RTS) in which I and my 'Black Army' are conquering the Galaxy, then we stumble upon Lylat and face the CDF. If you choose to play as the Black Army, you eventually get to command my Flagship (with it´s oviously freaking-great Hyper-Cannon) and Star Wolf, because we hire them to counter Star Fox. If you choose to play as the CDF, you eventually get to command the Great Fox (NOT the freaking-BAD command style Great Fox but the cool SF64/SFAd/SFAs one) and Star Fox.Both the flagships and the teams´ members are 'hero units'.2_ A Star Fox 64 - Star Fox 2 - Jurassic Park - Dragonheart, crossover. This one would be more like Star Fox Adventures in gameplay. I think that Fay and Miyu could be hired to take down a bad guy who is cloning Dragons in a planet and using them for 'whatever-his' purposes are. Since they can not take him themselves, they call in Star Fox. The game could be about the system(s) the guy is attacking and maybe with much more space fights than in Adventures. Also there would be some interesting quirks such as the guy´s secret base requiring some 'specials keys' or such to be detected (and/or to enter it).3_ Maybe a Star Fox - Mario crossover for a more... "comical" aproach. This one would be quite cliché, but focused on the funny and simple stuff. Basically Mario and Fox team up to find Krystal and Peach Krystal was captured while working undercover for Star Fox with the nickname of Kursed, infiltrated in a new Bowser´s army combining many bad included Star Wolf. And Peach... Well, she was "classically abducted" by Bowser...This one, I repeat, is more focused on funny stuff than storyline, plot, ect. With Mario being unable to defeat Bowser´s new guys, and Krystal captured, he joins forces with Fox, and togheter they go in a plataformer-style smashing bad guys, jumping high (or moving quickly) and doing smash-movements and such. In the Metroid Manga, there was a guy that looked like an Ape, so there are furries in both games! Samus and Fox together, cutting through enemies, that would be awesome.
