McDonald's reference.

I noticed that if you Get the first part of Fox McCloud's last name, and the second part of Wolf O'Donnell's name, you get Mc'Donnell. Sure its not McDonald's but I think its more than just a coincidence.

Anyone else noticed random reference to other things?

...I'm sure it's just a coincidence.  :hehe:

Although there was the "McDonnel-Douglas" airplane manufacturers from the '90's, involved in those "Alaska Airlines" planes crashing or failing... :P

...but I doubt there's any connection there, either.

I always wondered why they gave Irish names to fox and wolf

McCloud is a Schottish name, not Irish.

Is this thread serious?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why we desperately need a new Star Fox game.

And it is because of that statement that I wonder why you joined a Star Fox forum when you have yet to really play a Star Fox game.

ok lol well i have been a metroid person lol but once i got brawl and i was getting bored of the metroid serious you see with brawl i found a new nintnedo serious that i wanted to play so i picked starfox and it loocked intresting so i hope to one day i might get adventures or assault. Heres the problem i can't find any starfox game at my stores unless its at wal mart under neath a bunch of other games. But once i played Starfox 64 the demo on brawl i remember it like in a snap i remember the first boss and how me and my friend played it (sense he owned it but hes no longer living in my state) so when i ever get nintendo wifi i hope i can download or find the GC version.

You could just go to ebay or amazon and get them for dirt cheap, you know.

I found out that the O'Donnell's are a proud and ancient Irish family descended from Donal (or Donald). Donald means "great man". They were the chiefs of Tirconnell (now Donegal) for hundreds of years.

O_e heheh.

Mcdonnell.  Mc great man

Mc = son of

Son of Great Man

Actually just about every prefix in a name means son of. And I know Gon means lord but that's for first names.

(Gon'Dana is me dad ^_^ )
