While a comination of learning stuff and RL drama get's in the way, I recently got hooked on DragonBorns, a type of creature from D&D. Basicly humaniod dragons that look bad arse.

Unfortunatly, being a minor PC race of D&D, and not having any friends who are willing to play D&D, I thought a RP staring these critters would be awsome. We could even make it sci-fi if you really must.

It wasn't really any doubt on what race my D&D character would be. So I'm game.

Any further plans about this roleplay apart from having Dragonborns in it?

Well, mammals come from reptiles

with some mammal-like atributes (such

as feeding their kids with milk),

so it might be safe to assume that

the Dragonborm are related to these.

Unless we pic something strange like romance or horror, I have a generic adventure that can be applied to any setting in mind. It's short, easy to pic up and should allow enough character and action moments while being flexable enough to allow for freeform stuff.

Right, but we still need a setting. Fantasy, Modern, Post Appocolypse, Sci-Fi. Even something more abstract like steampunk if you really want, this is all assuming people dont want to do horror or something.

A short, actionfilled adventure, in a post-appocalyptic setting sounds pretty nice to me. Mad Max with anthro dragons if you like.

I'm all for any other setting as well tough.

But on my side, I want this adventure to be just, say, not long nor short.

A tie for Sci Fi and Modern, I'd imagine Asper is sick of sci fi by this point and modern is closer to post apoc. Asper get's the decider, I'll start the write up and you guys can start thinking of characters. remember to choose a Breath power. The stock powers are fire, ice, lightning, poisen, acid. Any chemical or elemant can do though. I'll be going acid personally.

or have excesive use make you tired or something. That's what I'm going for. Limited amount per with weaker breath and tiredness from overuse. If you want ammo or whatever, that's totally fine.

you can fill out the basics if you want, but leave the details (occupation, equipment ect) until a setting is chosen. Once we've got a setting we'll add it to the request que, assuming that system is still in effect.

I vote for somewhere in the middle between modern and Sci-fi then. More like the technology humanity used in Camerons "Avatar", which I'd say is around 50 years ahead in time from now.

I'll post a character right away.

Given the current 3 have been going 6 months, show little to no sign of ending, and this being way down the list it could be upwords of a year before we get started by which point I'd imagine most will have got bored of the idea.

I was invited to an ex-sfo members forum to RP a while back, but everone is forced into playing the admins stock RP so no suprises it's dead. Chat won't work because of time zones.

Any ideas?

We'll probably open up for having more roleplays going whenever another RP mod gets ellected. We do have the capacity as it is now, but we're going to do a proper spring cleaning first, and make sure the roleplay section's a pretty clean slate to build on.

So, I'll advice we wait a little til we get the new roleplay system up and running, the new moderator gets ellected, and we're finished cleaning up other roleplays. Shouldn't take all to long.
