Mr. Krystal
Even though Krystal IS awesome, the best Starfox game would have to be Starfox 64. Assualt's imprecise Arwing handling and the WAY too many walking stages cost this game its victory. Never really played the first Starfox game, but when I did, I died immediately and many times. :D
Orbital Fox
Adventures, I'm way better at it than I am at Assault, though I only rented Assault for a week... but Adventures is the game that got memore into Star Fox than ever.
Guest Mithos Kionisu
64, for several reasons, I never tried the orriganal, 64 was plain fun, I dont really consider adventures to be a star fox game, sure it has the characters and the name, but it just doesnt feel like a true starfox game save for the arwing missions, assualt felt like the invert y axis keept turning on and off for the arwing, just couldnt get a handle of it, plus i hate the doors! >_<
Inuyasha
SF64. Though I did think Adventures was a good game, I just keep coming back to SF64. I'll not play it for several months, then come back and play it (and only it) for a couple of months, but it just never gets old. It's not too hard to finish and doesn't require any real devotion to the game to like it a lot. I just think Adventures was...well...not as great.... I haven't played Adventures since I beat it. Assault...had amazing potetial, IMO, but it just never reached that. It needed to be longer and a little more polished. I mainly regret that the Namco didn't do everthing they could've with it. I've never played the original SNES Starfox, so I know nothing on that one, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too bad.... 'Twas probably a godsend for it's time.... -Inuyasha
Orbital Fox
I liked SF64 and all, but the GCN games are way better, I'd've expected that everyone would vote Assault, SF64 hasn't any replay value anymore, I've worn it out. Just sayin'.
Guest triforce45
Sf64, or assulat because adventures was just so random for a starfox game, but it had super water effects. Sfassualt had the best multi-player of all, and sf64 had all the charactors, and action.

Guest saturn
I went with SF64. I was mad at SFAS for not having the "in cockpit mode and all the secrets for VS only! And SFAD didn't have enough flying or play as Krystal longer. The only complain I had with SF64 was when my friend opened person VS I wanted there to be land "people" missions!!! (exactly what is on SFAS and please don't burn me! I love and own ALL games!!) But I have to go with SF64.
Guest saturn
There is no way that is the redone version. I think they wanted something different but have the same elements as the N64. The music is from the N64 with ocreastra but they probably would have brought back the "path" system. (which I hope to see in the next one for Rev) They might of made hinds of the N64 version but that is diffenetly not a remake by any means...they wanted to further the story... HavikFox
I would have to go with Adventures. I was the first Starfox game I played. I was a big Star Wars fan as well as a Sonic fan, as far as I see it, this game gave me the best aspects of both. 64 is good but I haven't played it enough to know for sure. Over all the graphics of Adventures beat Assault. Assault rocks but Krystal's first apperence in Adventures is a big factor. I think that Adventures could have been even better If the Starwolf team made an apperence, that was the only set back.
EvolutionSFox
^ Wolf, and the gang with a blasters vs Fox with a staff... that's a no, no. XD
Guest saturn
Nice Bambo...I just go my facts from Nintendo power though. It could be a remake but I would imagine they would have brought back a few things. But it's all cool. Thanks
Guest Idai Kitsune
I'd have to go with SF64. Being able to go different routes added some variety into the gameplay, rather than going through the same levels every time you played in Assault. Blaz3
I'm gonna say Assault but it comes pretty much even with Adventures. The only thing that separates the two is that Assault takes the game back to its roots. 64 wasn't bad, but I played it after I played Adventures so I didn't really see its awesomeness. I do think that it is easily one of the best game on the N64. Adventures had graphics that were heavenly on the eyes and Assault came close, the only major issue was the character design. All around, the series has been one major series and Nintendo better not ditch it because it is so brilliant. EDIT: I think I know why the original Star Fox on Snes is the hardest. Its probable that its because it was back when the gaming market wasn't too focused and it was made to be really hard, but I have a different theory. I think that because SNES had nowhere near as much power as N64 did, the graphics, physics and animations were not as good as the SNES. This makes games easier to play to a level because in the SNES one, you can't really see what is going to happen, while in 64, adventures and assault, you have an idea what is going to happen or what certain enemies are going to do. Really, this is just a guess but, to me at least, I think that this could be the real deal.
Guest Mithos Kionisu
64 FTW Assault had awsome vehicles, but the character models sucked, and lacked emotion Adventures had awsome character models and meh vehicles
