The US is misusing its extradition powers all in the name of copyright infringement and big business. It blows my mind how the RIAA and MPAA can have such a large influence over our government to have this student extradited for a simple offense. The punishment does not match the crime at all, and anyone that is willing to help should! Not to mention our prison systems are already overcrowded as hell; do they really expect to be able to prosecute everyone like this?

Agreed; the way things are progressing make this country seem farther and farther away from its founding ideals. Lobbyist funding, corporate interest taken above all else, etc.
