Best 3DS games?

So last Christmas I got a 3DS, and I still haven't found a game that I absolutely loved. My biggest issue is that I probably shouldn't have gotten a 3DS :P Multiplayer FPS games have ruined my taste in games. I'm not a very big fan of JRPGs and typical Nintendo games don't sound really good anymore. I'm having issues finding really good action games, and Monster Hunter sounds like a bit too much when I only play my 3DS every now and then. I'd prefer more action oriented stuff that makes me glad to play it on a 3DS rather than my phone, but I'll take what I can get.Trying to search for the best 3DS games gets me the same list of games (Monster Hunter, PXZ, SMT IV, Mario 3D/NSMB 2, and Luigi's Mansion) regardless of what website it's on.  I hear good things about Heroes of Ruin and I love ARPGs like Torchlight, but I hear a lot of bad about it too.

Any good recommendations?

Heavily considering Monster Hunter, but like I said I rarely play my 3DS, I want a game that doesn't need quite as much dedication as MH3U. Also the steep beginning is scaring me off, It was enough to keep me uninterested on Tri for the Wii.

EDIT: Sweet lord I just found Code of Princess from Atlus and it looks amazing. I know what I said about JRPGs, but this is basically Castle Crashers meets Dragon's Crown and it looks epic:

My personal list includes Star Fox 64 3D, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Mariokart 7, Pokemon Y, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Tomodachi Life, and Retro City Rampage, just to name a few.

Forgot Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I'm not even a Fire Emblem fan (not yet anyway) and it's one of my favorite games.

Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies. I'd advise you to first play the past Phoenix Wright games on the original DS, if possible.

I ended up settling on Super Mario 3D Land and Code of Princess, like what I've played of both so far, Code of Princess is interesting in that the gameplay isn't full 3D, you switch between 3 planes, and the quests are small chunks of the game so it's easy to drop in to play a few and drop out. I'm definitely going to get Retro City Rampage later, I have it on my PC and like it, and I can tell it would still be really fun on the go.

So far the 3DS games I have are:

Pokemon Y

Mariokart 7

Starfox 64 3D   -Still my absolute favorite, just love how it feels and plays, and the improved graphics/framerate are just a bonus

Luigi's Mansion   -I like it, but it's just a bit slower than what I want on a portable system, I preferred the slightly faster pacing of the original as well as the dual stick controls

Super Mario 3D Land  -Only played a little, but simply adding that 3rd dimension adds more to the feel of the game, it's one of the main reasons I picked it over NSMB2

Code of Princess -Liked what I've played so far, great for someone who wants to feel like they're playing a JRPG but ultimately sucks at JRPGs, only real downside of the copy I bought is that it's used and I can't find a complete scan of the sleeve to print out and use instead of the generic Gamestop cover.

Still, I'd love to hear other recommendations and just talk about 3DS games.

Yes. This. I can't believe it took this long to show up.

Get this game. Do it. DO IT NOW.

For the Code of Princess sleeve: I couldn't find the whole thing including spine, but if you have a reference photo of the spine you could just make your own to put on it and use these images. I tried, sorry. ): If it's out there my usual game cover haunts has it, but it seems there's not a full sleeve scan yet.

That was the issue I kept having when trying to find the sleeve myself, there were only individual scans of front and back with no side. I find it strange that there isn't a full scan of it, especially since it's an Atlus game, I feel there'd be a pretty good collection of scans for the cover and booklet that comes with new copies.
