SF-O has been transferred to the new admin team, and, as you can see, I'm now wearing a Former Staff badge. I'm glad I was able to help this community survive and seemingly outlive all the others. I had a lot of fun, made some friends, and learned a lot about web servers over the 15 or so years during which I ran this site. I was never able to make SF-O match my vision, and, honestly, I could have been a better steward of the site over the past couple of years, but I kept it going despite. And I did promise that I would not let this community die due to my own inactivity. This is why I made the decision to step down and turn the site over to the new admin team. I have faith that they will help SF-O achieve a new vision and continue to be a home for Star Fox fans. Perhaps they'll even surpass what I managed to build. I'll pop-in from time-to-time, but my activity level here is probably not going to change overall from what it has been recently. Keep strong. Come back every once in awhile to "lay eyes" on us. And, most importantly, thank you. Despite everything that has occurred (and still is), this is a great place to be. Fedora Posted March 28, 2017 Report Share Posted March 28, 2017 This site is going to miss you, DZ. Way back in 2010, Arashikage tells me that he found a site after I showed him Star Fox 64. I finally made my account a couple of days later. Night of the freakin' mosquitoes, it was. Little did I know it was the start of something really magical. The next year or so, Arashikage practically lived at my house. We'd spend the time playing video games and the like. But we also spent quite a lot of time on SF-O, particularly in the RP Board. We actually kept each other up all night on our laptops to keep posting in the Lylat Luxury Hotel as Doggy Green or AK's veritable multitude of characters. We've made a lot of friends, we've seen folks go. I've lived through the RP Board splintering (Back when such a thing could affect the whole board!) and it reforming. All I can say is, this is the end of an era. But the dawn of a new hopeful one. I hope we eventually get to see more of you around here or on Discord, DZ.
